Needs new management. I usually love angelo & maxies and will probably still go back despite my last experience. We had a late reservation and were the last table to be seated in the dining room. There were 3 of us that sat and we had one more on the way - we promised to order for him and get everything in motion. We had about 4 appetizers (seafood tower, beef tartar, etc) and our last guest arrived after we had ordered the entrees (his included). About 1/2 way through the restaurant was empty except for our table and another one with two girls who were paying the bill. I kept watching the manager send the busboys over to try and clear our food when we were nowhere near finished. The manager even came over after dessert menus were dropped and overheard us talking about a club we were thinking about heading to afterwards. His words exactly "I know the doorman over there, so if you guys skip dessert I'll make a call and get you right in." We told him no thanks and ordered dessert and coffee. About 5 minutes later he cut the music and turned the lights on. At this point, the meal was ruined and we were really annoyed Our server was amazing and even apologized numerous times for his manager.................the guy even followed us out the door to promptly lock it behind us!! I like the steaks there and the service is usually great - the night manager (a large guy with no manners) needs to go!!!

Accomodated our large, rowdy group with great service and food. My company recently hosted a dinner for a rather large group at Angelo and Maxie's. We had a rowdy crowd, plus the complication of bringing in a kosher meal, but the waitstaff handled everything flawlessly. The food was also outstanding...sometimes limited menus for large groups can disappoint, but we felt we had the pick of all the best things on the menu. This group makes a point of going to great steakhouses for this annual event, and A&M's definitely lived up to -or even exceeded- everyone's expectations. Also, I was impressed with how easy it was to plan the dinner with A&M's event coordinator...just a few quick phone calls and we were all set to go. We will definitely look forward to returning for future events.

Great Steak. Great place steak and seafood, also have great lunch menu. A little on the expensive side, but consistently good.

Great Place for Large Groups. I was responsible for putting together a bachelor party for the groom. After searching out the deals of several steakhouses in the city, Angelo & Maxie's had the best pre-fix menu. Needless to say, the party went VERY smoothly, without the occassional bumps people expect with large groups. The food was delicious and service incredibly attentive. I would definitely go back with a large group or with a few friends. It's hard to find a courteous and yummy restaurant in the city without loosing your shirt on the price.

Extremely enjoyable evening. Have been to A&M a few times with clients. Always can count on good food, atmosphere and attentive staff. You really can't go wrong if you are looking for steak... especially if you have the expense account!

Great staple on Park Ave. I finally got to try Angelo and Maxie's after hearing much buzz about it. IT did not disappoint. We all got steak and it was delicous. The bar scene was bussing too. I would recommend this place for a friends dinner or a romanti night out.

rude waitstaff. I would never visit here again. The service was horrible, and sadly the food just isn't good enough to make up for the rude waitstaff.

Great steak, dessert, excellent service. A friend of mine and I happened upon Angelo and Maxie's while looking for somewhere to eat dinner on a trip to NY this summer... the wait was relatively short, the steak and chocolate souffle were outstanding, the prices reasonable and the service extremely friendly and fast. Would definitely go back on my next trip.

Food Service Value the Trifecta of steakhouses.
Just got back from maxie's on Sunday night and i gotta tell you
the service was great as usual i came in around 7:30 pm without
reservations and without any waiting time food was great also had the
seafood sampler for 2 as impressive as ever delicious the sides were
wonderful creamed spinach and mashed were awesome my only problem was with
the steak i ordered the T-Bone medium and unfortunately it came a little
undercooked for my taste but still was a wonderful cut of meat i have to
say this place never fails to amaze food service and ambiance were great
