My sons and I have been visiting Cozy since my oldest was born, that's 11 years ago. We always eat the Turkey burgers, my personal favorite. Great place to visit!

Poor Value. I used to come here regularly several years ago & always had good experiences with the food & staff.

Recently, however, I returned with a friend at 1AM on a weeknight. Staff is still as friendly as ever.

We only ordered soup & french fries.

Soup: Canned (chicken noodle), tasteless & noodles far too soft (from being in the steamer all day?). $4 a CUP! ($6 Bowl).

Fries: Tiny plate arrived 30 seconds after ordering them, which worried me. They must have been under the warmer for a while after being fried twice: mildly warm, no crispness, soft ($4.50 & $1.50 more for gravy).

The place is overpriced for the quality. I realize later in the evening it is tempting for the cooks to get lazy, but that is no excuse. I would hope the food is freshly cooked when it is busier.

The name says it all. Used to hang out with my buddies in the area a long time ago and got used to eating the burgers here. Now I work all the way in midtown and still go down here for a burger and the soup. Yeah, everyone talks about the bugers but I love the soup also.

The fact it is open 24 also helps of course

Best Burgers. Period.. I don't care what anyone says, Cozy's burgers are up there with the best of them.

How they still serve such a huge burger, with all the 'fixins' for such a reasonable price is beyond me.

I've been going here for 20 years and for 20 years it's been awesome. I bet the 20 years before I started going were just as great.

Okay, let's say you don't like burgers (sigh), you can do breakfast (great egg selections), lunch items (chicken fingers, anyone?) or full dinners...mashed potatoes and meatloaf? Yes, they do that, too.

The staff is always up and since they are always open, that's a good thing.

Great lunch spot. I worked near Cozy and had lunch there almost every day. It is definitely one of the better NY diners. The staff was always really amicable and friendly. As the name implies, the soups and burgers are very good. It is always very crowded during the lunch hours so they are trying to turn tables fast but it is definitely one of my favorite spots in the area for a quick and cheap bite to eat.

Typical New York City take the money. Service is good to seat you and than take the money to get you out.

Food is bad and Soup is very poor.

Good for people with bad taste , but other wise , there are many better diners in the area.

Here is your classic greasy spoon diner, poorly run until it comes time to take the money.

I enjoyed the breakfast.. We had brunch there on Saturday, 9/27/08. I had a bacon and cheddar omellette, home fries and coffee. I really enjoyed it. Yes, it was cramped and over priced, but what else would you expect in NYC? A patron at the table behind me yelled at the waiter about the prices and really raked him over the coals, and the waiter remained polite and respectful. I would go there again.

People are too fussy!. It's a diner! It's around the corner from a couple NYU dorms, it's open 24 hours, it's fast, and it's not ridiculously expensive for being in the middle of the village. Come here between 11p-7a and you won't be dissapointed!

Unprofressional? Geez. Stick to the places where they have 18 buck burgers.. (Not including tax, tip, and obviously a drink as that 17 buck guy was talking about)

Hair and plastic in food. I went here twice and that was enough. The first time I found a hair in my omellete, and today there was a piece of plastic cooked into my side of home fries. The manager didn't apologize, and only offered to not charge me for the home frieds that had plastic in them. He did not bring me a new plate of home fries. The servers are nice people but that was the only positive part of my experience.
