Ask for Kimberly.
Food is excellent. Do not pass up the chili & seabass entree. I dont eat fish too often but after accepting a recommendation from a friend and trying it, I could not get enough.
Service exceeded any true food connesieur's expectation, thanks to Kimberly. She was very professional, sweet, and knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions.
I will definitely be coming back.
GOOD ALL AROUND. good food, drinks, friendliest staff & nieghborhood regulars!
An Unexpected Find. On a cold rainy night, I walked into a warm friendly atmosphere. I was well taken care of by the wait staff and delightfully pleased by the menu choices. The wine selection was vast and despite the fact that I was stuffed from dinner, I indulged in dessert too. The lemon pepper calamari was tender and well seasoned, the fish was fresh and dessert was heaven! Thank you Mumbles for the wonderful evening. I'll be back very soon.
Will return again & again. Great neighborhood place- good eats- wait staff on the ball.I walk pass Mumbles every morning 7:30 Am & I notice the cleaning staff there . The place is clean the food good what more do you need. My office has catered fron here & never was dissapointed.
DISGUSTING. What a terrible place. Mice running around the floor. Dirty plates. Old people crowd- looks like Florida. A Russian waitress with a bad attitude. Waste of an evening and money.
Decent place to get a meal. This place used to be a great dinner spot in a charming neighborhood (pre-2008), but over the past two years they're upped their prices by about 50% making it a complete ripoff. The waiters were always kind though, so if you don't mind paying a little more than you should, then its definitely a place to check out.
Great place for a brunch hangout. I've been to Mumbles so many times I've stopped counting. It was convenient back when we lived a block away, but even after we moved my husband and I still enjoy an occasional bruch here. We've been here in morning, afternoon and evening, both with a large party of friends and without. Never a bad experience. The food is delicious, the service is good, although on busy days it can get a tad slow. Other than that, can't find anything to complain about when it comes to Mumbles! You can call it a little neighborhood gem.
TERRIBLE. If you like an older crowd with no life, this is the perfect place for you. The food was terrible. The fish smelled like stale fish, the food was tastless and the menu was all over the place. This place has no identity. The service wasn't great either, but they at least tried. The wait staff was uneducated on their product, which is a complete turn-off. I would strongly recommend that you DO NOT frequent at this establishment.
Not recommended for celebrating a birthday!. If you bring a cake, they will charge you $2.00 per person to cut it. How outrageous is that? I was told that you can order a piece of cake.
Best Meat-loaf ever!.
This is the first time I've written a review for rating a restaurant. I really enjoy eating at Mumbles. I either meet friends for dinner during the week or brunch on the weekends. I have always found the food to be really good and consider myself a regular. Sometimes it's busier than others but I've rarely had to wait to be seated.
My favorite dish on the menu is the Meat-loaf - totally love it. I highly recommend checking this place out as there's plenty to choose from on the menu. The prices are very reasonable & the quality of food is good & tasty. Last thing, the bread basket contains amazingly good corn bread.
