In Short – Located in a landmark building opposite the Public Theater, the trademark palm-leaf decor has aged gracefully and the deep green banquettes are glam enough to make anyone feel like a Euro-royal or a duty-free heiress. The food--essentially a toytown version of Asian cuisine--doesn't get in the way of table-hopping. The bar area up front is nearly as good.

Awesome food, great atmosphere, great location

We just love this place. The food is always great, it's right near great nightlife, and it's bigger than your average east village restaurant so you don't feel suffocated sitting 3 inches from the person next to you that you don't know. The prices are reasonable, and the drinks are great too!

Classic!

We walked in on a Friday night prime time without a reservation so we got lucky and grabbed two seats at the bar. We haven't been to Indochine I'm a few years and I was curious to see if they were still as good as ever. And they actually were even better than I remembered. The appetizers were very good and the flavors exciting. The entrees were just as flavorful. The service was very professional and friendly. Even though we had dinner at the crowded bar, we were taken good care of thanks to the attentive bartender. We will be back more often and next time we'll make reservations, but stop first for a drink at the bar

Dinner at Indochine in a real experience. Food is good, staff is friendly and gorgeous, the lighting is dimmed to perfection and you never know who will be at the next table.
