“Do not forget the really thick chocolate milkshake(they have a name for the really thick one)(best chocolate milkshake in NYC, anyone?)”
“The waitress there was very nice and was great until one of the kitchen hands brought out our drink of boylan's root beer when we asked for stewarts, after stating the fact that he had gotten the wrong one.”
“Definitely the best burger there is!”
“One small complaint, onion rings are pre fab frozen, so they were a small let down otherwise a great place for a quick bite.”
“The service was fine - really sweet, pleasant guys despite huge crowding.”
“Very tasty, huge burgers, great atmosphere.”
“Huge burgers and meals are quick, good and inexpensive.”
They have great burgers!. the food is awesome, the drinks are to die for. I loved the staff and everyone in the place. So friendly and professional. Will return! and promise to update this review after the upcoming trip......
Great if you're looking for a meal!.
This place looks kind of like one of those rowdy sports bars, but once you go inside, you feel better.
I got a cheeseburger and fries - both were so plentiful, I didn't finish either. I definitely got my money's worth. It costed me a bit less than ten bucks. Around eight.
The burger meat wasn't too seasoned, but that is how I like it. It was extremely juicy. It was so tender, you wouldn't need a knife to cut it. A fork would suffice. I didn't expect less than three dollars' worth of french fries to be so much! When they brought me the huge platter of it, I was pretty floored.
My friend got a lemonade and she said it was really good.
I got my money's worth, the food was good, and I left extremely full. Easily five stars.
Fat Juicy Burger.
They don't mess around here. Burgers here are super big and juicy. If you are on diet, this is not the joint for you. If you are looking for a high maintenance burger, this aint the right spot for you either.
Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and chow down the messy burger at hand. You are certainly going to be full and happy after eating.
Best Burger i have ever had. I went to this place bc of the reviews that i read, The shop it self its not fancy and very laid back. The burger is huge and very delicious , I give them five starts.
Burger Nirvana.
A juicy burger cooked to perfection .. Need to use a knife and fork . Fresh ground beef which melts in your mouth
A small joint so timing is everything here
A friendly staff and intresting patrons that frequent the place
Da Biggest Burgers in NYC.. When I went there, as soon as I walked in, immediately smelled burgers a'cookin. Its the BEST diner/restaurant crossover in NYC. And thats no lie.
HUGE Burgers. This place makes some of the best burgers I've ever had. Whether you order rare or well done, the burgers are juicy and tasty. the Philly Cheesesteaks are really good too.
I Tell People This Place is Terrible....
...so they keep going to the Shake Shack. Hands down the best burger in New York. My biggest fear everytime I walk in is that the secret will finally be out and I'll find the tiny place packed to the gills and I'll have to wait for a table (hasn't happened yet in 7 years of going there). Burgers: juicy, seasoned to perfection and delicious. Toppings plentiful. Worried that your turkey burger will be dry and mealy like so many other places, but trying to watch your red meat intake? Fear not! Vegetable patties also available. Paul's does not discriminate, they just want to serve you the most delicious burger you've ever had.
It's also a must for out of towners looking for that "authentic" NYC experience. Greasy spoon atmosphere, sassy but charming waitress, rocky tables.... check, check, and check.
AWESOME BURGERS!. Been to Paul's many times. Definitely one of the best burgers in the city. Delicious, fresh.......AWESOME!
overrated. I went to Paul?s Place a couple weeks ago after hearing/reading many good reviews and was hugely disappointed. The burger bun got too moist and ?what?s worse- gooey in a matter of minutes. The ground beef was bland because it had no salt on it. The paper-thin slice of Swiss was bland as well (domestic, most likely). The pickles were so old they were way too soft and had a weird smell and slightly bitter aftertaste. Even the lemon wedge that came with my soda was old and smelly?
