“It was the best green tea ice cream i've had so far.”
“Wonderful Japanese sushi bar!”
“While the sushi here is great, the service isn't”
“Their sushi is always fresh and their regular menu isn't pricey at all.”
“This rude, ignorant man said that since this wasn't a nice restaurant, we shouldn't expect to get our food in the proper order, and that we shouldn't expect good service.”
“we will definitely come back for these great sushi.”
“Beyond the fact that I felt that him forcing the waiters, upon threat of umemployment, to do somebody else's job is unfair, the fact that the manager felt it was acceptable to yell at his staff in full view of the diners was unacceptable.”
“But once seated, the food was delicious, and for the price, the meal was well worth it.”
“Sharaku may not be the most authentic Japanese restaurant, but they have great hours (for when you have sushi craving at any time) and quick, prompt service.”

A no-frills sit-down Japanese restaurant in the heart of the St. Marks neighborhood. Fresh sushi and they have great lunch deals and fish directly from Kyushu Island in Japan.
Sushi campaign..
I went Sharaku last Wednesday and happened to be there on the last day of $1 Sushi campaign. So much great Sushi but I got such a small bill !
I looked around and everybody there seemed to have Sushi parties looking happy.
I wish they would do that every day!
The one dollar Sushi. I was at Sharaku with a bunch of friend tonight. We found that Sharaku has been on the one dollar Sushi promotion. They said that it will be until Dec. 9th. I highly recommend everyone to go there !
Great Food for the Price Conscious.
I go to NYU. This is the place i always stop by after the classes .
Great service, reasonable price and delicious foods.
Recommended.
We went Sharaku and had Shab Shab for two.
It was a nice and hot meal to keep us warm in a cold windy day. This is also a great place for Sushi for most occasions, The food is not pricey. Recommended.
It's a great place that I would recommend to everyone !. This a great place for Sushi for most occasions, and the service is terrific!! The Japanese speaking waiter was extremely attentative and food is fresh. The Lemon Hi drinks , and the Shabu Shabu are a most have! Mix crowd and prices are reasonable.
For anyone looking for good sushi at reasonable prices!. We have gone here numerous times in the past but only in recent years The atmosphere is pretty casual but works well for dates or groups. I like how you get a nice cut of sushi and a delicious rice that is where you are getting your money's worth. You will feel you are getting fresh Sushi at a reasonable price. I'd recommend it for the quality and the good pricing.
My ffavorite Japanese restaurant. Whenever comes to sushi, Sharaku is my only choice. I started my sushi with Sharaku more than 10 years ago from a second floor place to a street level restaurent. The place is spacious and the food is so superb as well as the chefs and waitresses. Come taste it.
Great food, great place and always friendly service..
Have been here for a long time. Premises are clean. There are two stories and nice view from second floor dinning room. Servers are always polite and pleasant .
Portions are generous, prices are good and food quality rivals any other sushi place in neighborhood . To get better sushi, you'll have to go to one of those fancy places and expect to spend your paycheck in one sitting. This is one of her favorite places for roll sushi. Their spicy tuna sushi is the Best!
The service is terrific!. I had never heard of this place before until I recently went with a friend. Though It was Monday night, it was pretty busy. The sushi plate called Village jumbo sushi was HUGE, Had a Roll combo that came with three vegetable rolls. The waiters were ( not Japanese ) were friendly and gave us such a great service. All in all, would definitely go back for cheap eats.
