Just OK. I went against my better judgement and based my dinner choice on the following criteria:

1) Rating Stars

2) Member Review

3) Price

I wanted to take my wife out and try a new section of NYC. The food was OK and the service slow. The staff was nice and my wife and I had a great evening, still the food was just OK.

WHAT CAN I SAY BUT FAB-U-LOUS!. This place is one of most favorites in the city!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The atmosphere is wonderful, the food amazing, the service warm. I have gone here on dates, celebrated with my friends at her wedding reception, and just gone here when i was feeling down and wanted to feel better! What a Gem keep up the good work!

Warm, intimate....Perfect date or intimate party spot!. Warm, romantic, good music and a perfect date spot or intimate gathering with friends. The appetizers and salads were great (fresh). Enjoyed the fried calimari and ceasar salad. The bread was so good I had to push it away. My entree was excellent ...fettucini with fresh salmon in a creamy pink sauce. Kicked it up with a little fresh pepper and salted to taste and I was in heaven. I am always afraid of getting overcooked pasta but must say they got it right. I sampled a few other entrees as you would with a party of 14 and was equally as impressed. Our waiter was very friendly and did his best to serve the entire room effortlessly. Zagat has not rated this place since the late 90's but it seems to still hold it's charm and I will return.

Great italian food. Great Italian restaurant with a good value and a nice garden seating area. Had the portobello mushrooms for an appetizer, which were excellent. For my entree, had the lobster ravioli - could have used more lobster and sauce, but for the price this was an excellent value. My husband has the Veal Rosemarino - a tiny bit overcooked, but he overall really liked it. For dessert, recommend the raspberry swirl cheesecake.

Great Hidden Restaurant. We stumbled upon this restaurant last night, and we thought it was great! We loved the atmosphere, and the food was pretty good to.

Unexpected pleasures. Where else do you go where you're served bruscetta BEFORE you order? Eat and converse while you're subtle backround music is singer standards like Sinatra and his contemporaries. The service is pleasant, too.

Great Italian food that doesn't break your budget. At 9 pm on a Friday night, I couldn't fathom why this place was not full. But a slow dining room allowed us to take our time without a lot of noise, and we were rewarded with remarkably good food at a very reasonable price. We started out with the antipasto for two--the sausage and prosciutto were nothing to write home about but the mozzarella with fresh tomato slices was delicious--smooth and milky-tasting. I had the smoked mozzarella and asparagus ravioli in pink sauce, which was absolutely delicious and a real bargain at $11 or so, and my husband was very impressed with his Mediterranean sea bass. The waiter brought two excellent pieces of bruschetta along with our bread basket, leaving us wishing that we had shared the bruschetta appetizer instead of the antipasto. We sat inside, but we also checked out the back garden, which was lovely.

Finally At Home. The restaurant gives you a "homy" Italian feeling. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Europan dining in the East Village! No hurries, just enjoy. If you want something special, ask for it and likely you wil get it.

The party room/lounge (Bacchus Room) with bar is a great extra future.

I will return and return and return.
