This place is one of most favorites in the city!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The atmosphere is wonderful, the food amazing, the service warm. I have gone here on dates, celebrated with my friends at her wedding reception, and just gone here when i was feeling down and wanted to feel better! What a Gem keep up the good work!
- Pros: GREAT ATMOSPHERE
- Cons: HMMMMMMMMM NONE
Warm, intimate....Perfect date or intimate party spot!
by edibilicious
Warm, romantic, good music and a perfect date spot or intimate gathering with friends. The appetizers and salads were great (fresh). Enjoyed the fried calimari and ceasar salad. The bread was so good I had to push it away. My entree was excellent ...fettucini with fresh salmon in a creamy pink sauce. Kicked it up with a little fresh pepper and salted to taste and I was in heaven. I am always afraid of getting overcooked pasta but must say they got it right. I sampled a few other entrees as you would with a party of 14 and was equally as impressed. Our waiter was very friendly and did his best to serve the entire room effortlessly. Zagat has not rated this place since the late 90's but it seems to still hold it's charm and I will return.
Great italian food
by belle654
Great Italian restaurant with a good value and a nice garden seating area. Had the portobello mushrooms for an appetizer, which were excellent. For my entree, had the lobster ravioli - could have used more lobster and sauce, but for the price this was an excellent value. My husband has the Veal Rosemarino - a tiny bit overcooked, but he overall really liked it. For dessert, recommend the raspberry swirl cheesecake.
- Pros: service, value
- Cons: food could have been a bit more tasty
