Best Dive bar I have been to

Holiday Lounge is truly the best dive bar I have been to. It is super dive and offers free popcorn! Love this place! The bartender here is super nice and drinks here are just dirt cheap. $4 to $6 for cocktails.

Come here for a chill and dive bars!

bartender steals your money!!!!

WATCH OUT FOR THIS PLACE, TOURISTS AND GIRLS ESPECIALLY!!! THE BARTENDER IS VERY DISHONEST ABOUT MONEY. YOU'LL GIVE HIM A $20 BILL AND HE'LL INSIST THAT YOU GAVE HIM A $10. HE WILL NOT ADMIT HIS MISTAKE AND WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY. SERIOUSLY.

ALSO, HE CLEARS ALL OF YOUR CHANGE OFF OF THE BAR WHEN HE THINKS YOU'RE NOT LOOKING AND ASSUMES A HUGE TIP. SNEAKY AND DISHONEST!!! LOU WILL SHORT CHANGE YOU, GIVE AN ATTITUDE AND BE A LITTLE SHORT JERK ABOUT IT. DO NOT GO THERE, EVER!!!!! A BETTER DIVE BAR IS THE TILE BAR AROUND THE CORNER ON 1ST AVE. BETWEEN ST. MARKS AND 7TH. Cheapest drinks in NYC

With a good pint averaging 7 bucks in a good pub, this place is an oasis for the drinker and his wallet. The bar doesn't stock too many ingredients but it did stock 151, which immediately puts it into my good books.

A very friendly and chatty crowd, a no-frills environment and a generally welcoming and homely atmosphere make this bar an NYC gem. Definitely a spot to keep in mind for good times. Excellent both for the later stages of a date, a fun time with friends or for the purpose of going out in NYC without mortgaging your home.

Best Dive Bar

This is one of the best dive bars in the city. Great place to grab cheap buds with some friends. The bartender is the man.
