Super YUMMY Pizza!. I was visiting New York City with a friend and we discovered this really warm and inviting restaurant. I LOOOVE their eggplant pizza, as well as their pastas! We had half/half pizza, mine was eggplant and my friend had the buffalo and it was sooo huge for a small size pizza! We had fun eating in there, we were there like around 3 a.m. in the morning! Will comeback for sure, wish they have it here in LA..

really good fresh egplant pizza. i never had a fresh eggplant pizza ever frst time try and bingo i will for sure order that pizza again..... great stuff open late

buffalo chicken pizza , imazingly perfect. Despite being the pizza capital of world, outside of Italy of course, NY still has its fair share of shitty pizza. East Village Pizza stands out as one of only a handfull of places that deserves a 5 star rating. This pizza is what you're thinking of when you think of what NYC pizza *should* be. Thin crust, fresh ingredients, piping hot and chewy and crunchy all at the same time.

i ordered a small bufalo chicken pizza( was really big ) about 16 inches i couendt finish it i ahd to take it home. it was really a pizza that makes me go back to east village pizza perfect food great service

what a margherita pizza , alomst ate the whole pie. I just was in nyc and taste the best . and evrybody should . a 4 day adventure in NYC. One of the cabbies told me about this place-- he said EAST VILLAGE PIZZA was the best in NYC. I tried only two other places, but this PIZZA place was by far the best--not the best of just those 3, but the best I have ever had--EVER! It was so incredible that my best... if 5 stars about the food and the service i gave them the 5 which they do deserve it i tried their home made baklava was really out of mined ......

imazing philysteak pizza. Check-in Here One of the more satisfying and reasonably priced meals I've ever had in NY. The pizza menut is beyond extensive, and since I'm no oenophile, it was somewhat overwhelming. But aside from that, everything my party of 6 ordered was delicious and drew rave reviews. You just don't get food this interesting and this reasonably priced in Manhattan. The philysteak pizza and the homemade rise pudding (baked) are why you come but stay for the unique chicken salad and fun atmosphere in a great part of town.

PS.

While some squeamish people might be turned off by the sound of it, the philystake pizza may be one of the most delicious pizza's in existence. People should order it as a appetizer because anybody that likes philysteak will be enamored with this pie!

perfect margherita pizza, friendly stuff. I had takeout from East Village Pizza and although the pizza was only warm and starting to get cold. It was absolutely delicious. A different taste to traditional Ray's like pizza or Chicago style, or even a brick oven thin slice.

I got the margherita pizza slices. They cut them up in small pieces and I grabbed 3 and really could've gone for 3 more squares.... I think it's the sauce that did it for me. It's got a sweet light flavor to it.

I can't describe it any further except to say that pizza NY style or even Chicago style or American style is extra everything. Extra sauce, extra flavor, extra meats, extra cheese, extra crust...etc etc... I don't think it's like that in the old country (Italy of course). And East Village Pizza I think is more true to the old style. A memorable experience even if this was only takeout....

perfect fresh eggplant pizza. East Village Pizza makes The BEST pizza I've ever had - hands down. And no, it's not because this place was all hyped up nor am I brainwashed because I know it's a huge tourist attraction. The pizza was so delicious and perfectly chewy and flavorful, I could have eaten a whole pizza (if only I could eat so much).

We ordered a half/half pizza with different toppings on each half. My favorite toppings were:

Italian sausage, pepperoni, fresh eggplant and mushrooms, olives, and the tomato sauce.

We also ordered a white pizza and I LOVED the different blend of cheese with the herbs and black pepper - it wasn't heavy at all and the flavors worked so perfectly well with each other.

Every time I eat pizza, I think of this place and how GREAT it'd be if they had one in Dallas or the Bay Area. I also used to only eat deep dish pizza, but after trying this place - I'm a HUUUUGE fan of NY style pizza :P

i just love the margherita pizza. This is my favorite pizza place in Manhattan, and I take as many out-of-town guests there as possible -- they always love it! i have had many kined of pizza here but The Margherita pizza is the best I've had since a trip to Naples (the birthplace of pizza -- the Margherita at that!). We also love the square pepperoni pizza. the rise pudding was a good closing

fenomenal phillystake pizza. philly stake pizza with roested mushrooms onions and peppers ,unbelievable taste and perfect crust. tehy make it with pov cheese bottom and top of the pizza which makes it better and better small corner but definately great taste staff was very friendly and thanks to frank for suggesting us the philly stake pizza that made our day

delicious chicken salad. huge portion salad with marinated grilled chicken right on top and a pita breat i never get a chicken salad this delicious, cant wait to go back again its all that i live in long islan was there for fridaynight and ordered a chicken salad wait 10 minutes they make it fresh even the salad u can see them making it its not prep already but worth to wait
