Excellent Pizza
by mattatat
I live in the area and have been going there for years. I've never been disappointed with the pizza. My favorite is the BBQ chicken. Best in the city!
Average NYC Pizza
by evillagefoodie
Nothing special, just another average New York city pizzeria.. does hitthe spot late night tho after some drinking !
- Pros: Cheap
- Cons: a little dirty
Unsanitary

The name is NO LONGER Due Amici. The REAL Due Amici is a chain of three or four pizza / salad joints owned by a delightfully friendly and competent Albanian family. 88 Third Avenue was their first store in the city, but they sold it to people who don't really understand food or the need for sanitation. I saw crawling insects on my only two occasions there. The food had gone seriously downhill and the guys slinging the pizza were dismissive and unfriendly.
- Pros: convenient location
- Cons: bad food
Bad Beyond Belief
by scamqueen
I just ordered the eggplant parmagiana hero and I can't BELIEVE how bad it is. The bread is stale and the eggplant tough. HELLO? Tough eggplant??? The sauce is lousy - way too sweet - and the cheese is scary.
I can't believe I had to wait 20 minutes for this either.
I am starving and my cat's food is looking a lot better than this. STAY AWAY.
- Pros: If they closed
- Cons: No A/C, Broken soda fountain, Test your immunity
