“If you expecting a comfortable place for brunch or coffee avoid this hole in a wall just like you are avoiding Starbucks.”
“The desserts are yummy.”
“Excellent coffee, great prices, good food.”
“Really good spilt pea soup and lox bagel platter.”
“Another time I ordered a waffle with carmelized bananas (just like it says on the menu) it came with plain sliced banana on a cold waffle, when I asked for the carmelized bananas they said they didn't make them.”
“This is a great place!”
“Not sure what the other people are talking about, but breakfast and overall food is terrific.”
“The prices are amazing- inexpensive and you get a lot for what you pay for.”
Good foood. Well, living in Manhattan I appreciate a good deal. So this is it. If you come here in the morning you can get good food for your buck. But you have to be patient, because the kitchen in this place doesn't recognize the concept of time so you have to nudge your waiter a couple of times to check on the progress of the pancakes. And they need to invent some AC in that place.
two thumbs down. gave it a second try today, big mistake. Terrible both times. The food is sub-par. Not fresh, bread stale, bland. I bought a panini, specifically asked for it hot and pressed. Got it cold, stale, and with ingrediants I asked not to be included. And I got to pay $10 for it. What a mistake, way too many other nice lunch spots around here to bother. This place is just plain bad.
Sour Milk, Nasty Customer Service!. I was in Sunburst yesterday and the owner Oleg no less refused to give me a new cup of coffee because the milk was sour. I knew he was the owner because when I asked for the owner he proudly announced it to display his power on why he was refusing to replace my spoiled milk coffee. Not very nice not to replace an undrinken $3 cup of joe when it costs cents to produce and the sour milk was not my fault.
Unfriendly staff and owner. The only thing that good in this place is the free internet ,unfriendly staff, i asked for a hot coffee and she gave me a cold coffee, i was there early in the morning and i think the owner had a bad early day, and she is extremely rude, too bad coz it really accessible to me because i work in the area, but i will bring my bussines somewhere else, its not a good environment if you will bring your friends from out of town.
Best Breakfast of NYC!!!!.
Nothing else to say, it is worth going to have breakfast to this place regardless of what part of the city you stay.
Very affordable too!
Crowded with college kids, no seats ,no air..
Bunch of college kids doing their homework. Have you been to Starbucks?
Well this is the same thing with better coffee and food.
If you're wearing your Converse keds today head there for a cup of coffee and a look at a bunch of shemales in their sweats.
If you expecting a comfortable place for brunch or coffee avoid this hole in a wall just like you are avoiding Starbucks.
avoid the non-fruity shakes/smoothies. I will NEVER get the cappuccino shake again!! I had this delivered, and all I get for freakin $6 is a HALF filled cup with undrinkable content. Infact I didn't even finish a quarter of it! I was so annoyed that I called the cafe to express my dismay. What a waste of $. I also ordered the chicken and mushroom sandwich, which was not as disappointing as the milk shake, but tasteless nonetheless! chicken was hard to chew and there was hardly any seasoning. Very disappointed with the food, but somehow, I'm keen on trying other stuff on the menu! Not willing to give up yet :)
Quick and healthy bite. Best place to go when you're in a rush but dont want the typical "fast food". Good salads and hot sandwiches. Really good spilt pea soup and lox bagel platter. Quick, reasonably priced, lots of options... always seem to go back. Check it out if you're in the neighborhood.
Editorial Review by Marcella Veneziale. This Gramercy cafe serves breakfast all day, baking morning pastries for any time, and features fresh juices and free Wi-Fi.
Simply the Best Breakfast in NYC. This place simply has the best breakfast in NYC period! They have a huge menu and it's sometimes hard to choose but everything is great. Not only is the food great, but the prices are just hard to imagine. Where else can you order a HUGE Omlete, coffee, and fresh oj for less than $10? I live in the area and can't get tired of their menu. I would definatly recommend trying everything (just not at one time lol). Not only is their breakfast great but their lunch paninis, salads, and soups are very good as well. The only complaint I would have is that my favorite spot gets way too busy on the weekend so I usually just order a delivery.
