My favorite dive bar. If you are just looking for a fun place for cheap drinks, Grassroots is the place. The juke box is great and the bartenders and patrons are some of the nicest people in NYC. Don't go here looking for frills, because you will be disappointed. Go here for cheap pitchers of beer and a rousing game of darts.
