Despite its location on a busy strip of Second Avenue, the pub is tucked away from the throngs of bar-hoppers, making it a suitable place to chill out with a pint. Warm brick walls flank the long, narrow space. The dartboard in the back and a hot toddy in winter attract a crowd of regulars. The happy-hour buffet, served from 5pm to 8pm, isn't usually complicated (i.e., chili and rice), but it is free.

My Favorite NYC Bar

I love this bar. I found it randomly when I was with my friends after he got out of school. The place is great, true it does get a little crowded on the weekends, but I have never found the seating situation to be a problem. The bartenders are great, and the drinks are reasonably priced. I haven't been for Happy Hour yet, but I heard they have great deals. If you want a fun bar in the East Village I suggest this place.
- Pros: Great Location, Friendly Bartenders
- Cons: Sometimes It Can Get Crowded
Nice Neighborhood place

Stopped by on a Sunday Late Afternoon for a drink. It's not a very big place with low ceilings and two tv's located in each corner of the bar and an electronic dart board. They have numerous happy hour specials advertised, but the prices didn't seem to be much lower than normal. A bottle of Coors Light was $4.00 and I got a buyback on my 4th round. Nice laidback place to stop in for a drink.
