Total crap bar - with this fat arrogant, scruffy old a**hole who works there in Sunday afternoon. Treats customers like crap - arrogant, dismissive, inept. Guy most be +65 and ugly as crap - who needs that on a Sunday afternoon? Rating = zero - avoid at all cost......

Low Key Neighborhood Bar. This bar is just around the corner for me. It is usually frequented by local dwellers. They don't have tourists or crazy Bridge & Tunnel crowd here. On the contrary, most patrons are people who live near by and just want to grab a drink with their friends.

If you are looking for a hangout spot with your friends, with no intention to bump into tourists, trendy people or crazy college kids, this is just the place for you.

My Favorite NYC Bar. I love this bar. I found it randomly when I was with my friends after he got out of school. The place is great, true it does get a little crowded on the weekends, but I have never found the seating situation to be a problem. The bartenders are great, and the drinks are reasonably priced. I haven't been for Happy Hour yet, but I heard they have great deals. If you want a fun bar in the East Village I suggest this place.

Nice Neighborhood place. Stopped by on a Sunday Late Afternoon for a drink. It's not a very big place with low ceilings and two tv's located in each corner of the bar and an electronic dart board. They have numerous happy hour specials advertised, but the prices didn't seem to be much lower than normal. A bottle of Coors Light was $4.00 and I got a buyback on my 4th round. Nice laidback place to stop in for a drink.

Love this place!. Cheap drinks, great specials. This place is never overcrowded and all the bartenders are friendly and fantastic. I started coming for the electronic dart board in the back. Some people would never think to play on an electronic board but this one is really good and I've had so many fun games there. This is a great nieghborhood and attracts a good, fun clientele.

Slainte! (pronounced SLAWN-cheh). Slainte! Traditional Irish toast; translation

To Your Health.

Thirsty Scholar. Traditional Irish Pub of impeccable service and quality; translates into good times.

Frequented this bar enough to know of its reasonable happy hour, its buffet of simple yet worthy bar food, the pleasant assortment of music and its dart board set up in back for those aficionados however, the most important and endearing quality behind this quaint little establishment is by far its invaluable staff of barkeeps who remember if not your name, at least your drink each and every time you return. Crowd is a comfortably diverse group all with one common goal of kicking back and enjoying a few amongst friends. Music and ambiance is cool and alive yet controlled enough to carry a conversation. Drop in for a few, Trish, Pete and Decs will be waiting to greet you with warm hearts and high spirits.

Neighborhood pub offers a pleasant respite from the usual East Village crowds.. Despite its location on a busy strip of Second Avenue, the pub is tucked away from the throngs of bar-hoppers, making it a suitable place to chill out with a pint. Warm brick walls flank the long, narrow space. The dartboard in the back and a hot toddy in winter attract a crowd of regulars. The happy-hour buffet, served from 5pm to 8pm, isn't usually complicated (i.e., chili and rice), but it is free.

The Revival!. The neighborhood seemed to go out of favor for a while but it seems to be back in full force. This place has great music, service, hearty drinks, and a buffet that has gone above the ordinary(i.e.-fetticini carbonara), but the draw in this place is the people who come here, the crowd is diverse, interesting, and just plain fun!!!
