Located in the heart of the East Village of New York City is Nightingale Lounge. This sexy and intimate, yet spacious venue is where people come to celebrate, while enjoying the music and ambiance. Illuminated by tranquil hues through a glass paned wall is a black granite bar. Across from the bar are banquettes filled with throw pillows and surrounding plush sofas. The stage accomodates different events and shows that occur throughout the week. Each night is an eclectic blend of music as well as people. Some of the music that fills the room are house, funk, soul, hip hop, reggae and rock.
For those of you that are up for a challenge, grab a cue stick and shoot some pool on the red hot table.
If you are looking for that ideal spot to throw a party or just to kick back and relax, Nightingale Lounge is the place to be.

Nice name, place is kinda small, been there for a few bday parties. It only really gets packed when theres a party going on. When its packed be careful of the stupid step they have by the tiny seats. I've seen a bunch of people stumble from it.

every first and third wednesday, this lovely laidback lounge hosts a cozy eclectic open-mic where up-and-coming talents do their thing. and that thing is hot. stick around for the bartender's soulful acoustic stylings; that girl's got some chops.

Nightingale Lounge is a great place to lounge, party, dance, it's my home away from home. Have a private party, walk in to a public party, entertain or be entertained, the possibilities are endless. Friendly people, good prices, always changing atmospheres.
