Editorial Review for Cheap Jack's Vintage Clothing – by Elaine Heinzman

In Short
Vintage devotees, including a sizable college-student demographic, meticulously scour three occasionally busy floors of moderately priced, pre-worn garb. Racks are organized by item: suede jackets, long skirts, mini dresses, evening gowns, even T-ball jerseys and ringers. The top floor features hats and summer wear, while the ground level houses most of the winter clothing and handbags. The basement includes an impressive selection of denim and uniforms, from Boy Scout shirts to marching-band jackets.

This is a super fun store to shop in, especially for the creatively-minded. Tons of selection and everything was well maintained and cleaned. No dusty, musty smelling racks of disorganized clothing. The staff is very stylish and knowledgable, however they have no pretensions and will go out of their way to help you put together the perfect outfit. They seem to really enjoy working their and helping people find what they're looking for. My only complaint is that the items are somewhat pricey - for example, it's rare to find any dress for less than $120 dollars - which can be steep for something old and used. However, there are some very beautiful, unique pieces at this store. Overall, one of my favorite places to spend a rainy afternoon!!

Jack's probably has the most extensive selection of vintage in the city - the place is huge. Its a little on the pricey side, but they have clothes there that are older than your grandma. I found a great leather jacket here, I will definitely stop back next time I'm in the area.

Pros: Selection,Quality

Cons: Pricey
