I can SEE!

I was helped out above and beyond what you could ever expect from an optical store. They stayed with me and kept offering suggestion after suggestion until I found the PERFECT pair that fit my face AND that were not too expensive. I'm very pleased with my glasses and will be back for my next Rx. Thank you!

Best Eye wear retail store in manhattan!!!!

I highly recommend DEVONSHIRE OPTICAL as the only place to get glasses in Manhattan.

After hours of shopping for frames, growing more and more frustrated at the lack of customer service as well as the frame quality offered at the major chains. I turned north on University Place and walked into DEVONSHIRE OPTICAL.

Wow, what a difference a little intelligent human interaction can do to our daily life. I was quickly greeted by Tanisha and Betty.

As I looked at their frames a woman walked in with a bag of treats. Her offering was in response to the service she received at DEVONSHIRE OPTICAL. I knew I walked into the right place. Tanisha and Betty help me find and decide the right frame for my budget and help me to choose the perfect frame.

What made this shopping experience different from the rest is that it has to do with the fact, that Tanisha and Betty understand and practice solid good customer service.

It is the only place to go for frames in the island of Manhattan.

Reasonable prices, great customer service

I wanted to leave a review on Citysearch given my great customer service experience here. I got a pair of glasses, prescription, with anti-glare, etc. I just love them.

I wasn't pressured into buying (unlike some other places) and the salesperson helping me was patient, kind and professional. I was in and out quickly.

In the end, I love my glasses; they are so sturdy and I think compliment my face really well. This shop is wonderful.

The Best, hands down

Having trekked the city over searching for a good places, I arrived at Devonshire Optical a weary man. I had been frustrated at countless boutiques across Manhattan, everywhere I went it seemed liked I was being pressured into buying something that wasn't me. Service went from snooty to downright mean at times. So it was with a heavy heart that I treaded in to Devonshire Optical on a cold January morning.

I was immediately greeted by a friendly employee who introduced himself as Manny. He cheerily told me to make myself at home and check out anything I'd like. He was extremely helpful and never pressured me into anything, but offered great feedback, and for someone like me who isn't exactly the hippest of the hip, that means a lot.

In the end, because of Manny's great assistance and the fantastic selection of Devonshire Optical, I was able to discover a pair of glasses that were "me." It was such a positive experience that you'd be hard pressed to ever find any service or selection that can even come close to Devonshire Optical in Manhattan. They deserve the PERFECT reviews that they've received. Bottom line, save your time, go here first.
