great color by Doris.

I usually get my color uptown. I live in the neighborhood, and I am a licensed hairstylist. I do not currently work as a hairstylist, but I do know color, color charts and I am familiar with many color lines. I took a chance a walked in and met Doris. They use Goldwell color a line I like and have used. Doris did a great job on my regrowth and added some beautiful highlights. I have returned and will continue to return. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is that was not sure each smock was freshly laundered and or unused. And for a simple single process it is 80.00, which is as much as a luxury uptown salon. So since I am able to do my own single process at home that is what I will do and mostly go back for the occasional single when I need highlights.

Great Multiservice Salon

I live in the area and was very happy to see a new multipurpose salon open up there. From the moment I walked in my dog Marcus and I were warmly greeted by Cobby, a stylist who gave me an awesome blowout. She informed me of isalon's long list of other services. I then met Gita who did my Mani and pedi she was GREAT!!! , professional, thorough and quick. I also met Bianca, the receptionist who was so lovely and friendly. I scheduled another appointment 1 week later for a blowout and color. I was quite nervous as I was having my hair colored by another colorist for almost 10 years. I thought it might be time for a change. When I returned I was again greeted by Bianca . She led me to Jack who would do the color. We had a consultation and once he was clear on my vision he began. I was so happy with the outcome and ever since then, I have returned. P.S. Jack does the best blow outs in NYC. I have been back every week since then and each time the staff makes me and my dog Marcus feel very special.

Last time I was there Doris, the owner, wove some complimentary feathers into my hair. I always have a special experience when I go there.

Great Haircolorist!!!

My experience at I salon was a great one. I left there feeling wonderful. Doris did a great job with my hair color. The suggestion of color combinations for my hair was right on point. My hair was exactly what I wanted and felt extremely healthy. I received many compliments at work the next day. Keep up the good work!

I was an academic exchange program visiting scholar in NYC. The program was very busy, but I needed to do and dye my hair while there. When I visited the i Salon in the evening they were closing, but Senior Hairdresser and Colorist Doris was very nice and agreed to serve me. The result was great. She chose a nice combination of colors for me and I enjoyed my new color very much.

When I am in NYC next time I will definitely go back to i Salon. Doris is a professional. Thank you!

Very Nice Salon

I really enjoyed this salon. Since I moved to the city, I have been looking for a hair place that was nice and affordable. I salon is the one. They have a very nice staff that is friendly and professional. They are willing to give you advice on what to do with your hair and do a nice job. I walked out very happy. I will go back in a few weeks to get my hair done again :)
