Marina ROCKS hair !!!!!!. I came there with many hair issues. My hair was thin and dry and long and completely lifeless. Marina who was highly recommended , made me over. I walked out like a gorgeous princess. I looked like I had a ton of hair. The way she cut it and colored it without damaging it , was amazing. Ok but I don't understand what the fuss is about.
I went to Marie Bove to see Ana for a cut and a color. The salon is pretty at first but a bit shabby if you look closer. I was also surprised that the average age of the clientele is probably in the
50s so it might not be the best choice for a young person (I am closer to middle age than I care to admit so this is mostly a comment for others).
As for my experience, the cut turned out quite nice but the color was a total disappointment. Less than 12 hours after the cut I had to wash my hair because it was already getting grimy from whatever was left in my hair. So much for the pretty blow out. I felt a lot of clumping of color around the roots when I was combing my hair after the shower and ended up having to rewash my hair to get out the chunks of product. Unfortunately the demi-color which is supposed to last 25 washes was completely gone in 2, leaving me more than $200 poorer and all my grays still there. Maybe my expectations were just too high but I would hope to have somewhat longer results.…

Ana is a beauty lifesaver! I first had the pleasure of being styled by Ana when I came to her with THE worst bang cut ever (done by somebody else). Don't even get me started on that nightmare. But
Ana was the happy ending to that story because she was able to fix my bangs and then advised me on a haircut that would flatter my head and face (she's obviously very educated and skilled in her trade); she even gave me a little trim all around. I loved that little trim - it made a huge difference and I got tons of compliments! I had to return to her for a haircut again, and again and again. I also sent a bunch of my friends to Ana and they all loved her as well! She really cares about what makes the client looks best and I trust her completely.
Which is why I came to her to fix my awful dye job! After being told by another salon that stripping my color would break my hair, I didn't know what to do. Ana was able to correct my color and gave me a beauitful new look with INOA coloring. INOA is ammonia-free and it really is the best stuff out there. Our hair takes enough beatings with the daily blow drying, straightening, hair spray, etc. but with INOA hair coloring by Ana, you don't have to damage your hair anymore.
If you want a personable, caring, and kind hair stylist and colorist, Ana is the best there is. I wouldn't trust my locks to anyone else.…
