“This location (Noble St & Manhattan Ave) is actually more convenient for me, as I live in Williamsburg and it's in the walking distance from my house.”
“The secretary/receptionist was like a cold nasty non knowledgeable fish who did.”
“Andromada is a great place to go to be tattooed and the staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and sure to put you at ease.”
“Despite what some people think, tattoos can be beautiful art.”
“the tattoo artists are amazing but the body peircings just come out to too much money.”
just avoid.
On holiday coming from Amsterdam, Holland and thinking about getting another tattoo.
Due to good reviews visited the store at Saturday just after opening at noon. My review can not get any further as my wife and I got trown out within 30 secs by a very nasty artist. On his question within 10 secs after enterning the store 'can I help you', we replied that we wanted to look around, he pointed to a sign at the door which reads 'NO LOOKING AROUND'. We thought he was joking and started to review the pictures. He did not let us and said 'you are not going to get a tattoo, leave now'. Which we did. Who trust an artist behaving like that...... My advice for future visitors: please ask directly for the artist formely known as Picasso'.
St. Marks parlor adds edge to bodies with piercings, tattoos and a collection of body jewelry for sale..
excellent. I went to andromeda to get my tongue, navel, eyebrow and ear pierced, my friends also got various piercings there. they were really nice and happy to answer any questions i had. the place was really clean and everything was sterilized and the staff explained all of the aftercare instructions clearly. i would highly recommend andromeda if you are thinking of getting a piercing.
They calmed my nerves.... When I got my tongue pierced here, I went in with a close friend because I was NERVOUS!! The employee was very nice and helpful, and when he realized that I was so nervous that I wasn't relaay listening to the after-care inst., he started telling them to my friend instead, & he wrote them down. The place was clean, the piercing was painless, and when I called back 2 weeks later with a question, they were very helpful.
Andromeda is no good. The first time I went to Andromeda, I bought a nose stud. I asked them to fit it in themselves (since I trusted them to be accurate)I went home and the next morning, my nose stud vanished. My skin had sealed over it. Enfuriated, I went back and a different piercer told me what was wrong. One problem was that it was not fitted properly. I told him that someone who worked at the shop put in the stud. He proceeded to fix it for me. He changed the size and shape of the stud. Now it is too loose and I am going to go somewhere else and hopefully they will do a better job then Andromeda did.
Tacky and rude. I got my nose pierced at this place and the customer service was beyond horrible. I went on a friday afternoon and some dude was working there who just seemed to have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed that day. He appeared to be extremely annoyed and I was afraid to even ask him a question with the fear he might bite my head off. The piercer was ok although he wanted it his way not my way althouh it was my nose he was piercing. I will probably never go back there again. But I must say they are extremely clean, everythign comes right out of the bag so I really like that.
