Worst haircut ever. This was definitely the worst haircut I ever got. I went in and asked for a dark caesar. Its pretty much a standard haircut but the barber didn't even know what a dark caesar was and barely understood english. After some of the other people working in the shop explained to him what I wanted, I sat down for the cut and while doing my hairline the barber begins to dig into my scalp trimming any area where there was no hair. He cut me on boths sides of my head. When the haircut was done, we had to get another barber to fix my hairline, and I still had to pay $5 for the cut. 4 days later my head is still healing and looks worse than the day I got the hair cut. This was my worst experience ever with a barber shop in my life. Do not go here trying to get a cut. Here's pics of the evidence:

Make sure they cut both sides of your head!. I went to the Atlas barber school for a short haircut. I wear a wig, and the haircut would be completely covered. What could go wrong?

Well, a lot. The haircutter left the hair on top of my head extra long. When I said it could be shorter, she cut more off everything except the top. Okay, fine. But when I got home I found out she'd only cut the hair shorter on ONE SIDE. I had to take scissors to it myself to even it up!

I'll bet you anything that if you see a positive review for this place, it's written by someone who has never been there.

At just five bucks a pop, East Villagers are hard-pressed to find a cheaper cut. The catch? The barbershop doubles as a school, so the guy wielding the shears is likely in training--but it's a small price to pay when prices are so low. Mirrored barber stations cluttered with combs, razors, and hair dryers are fronted by kitschy red swivel seats, and there's a community feel buzzing throughout.
