This therapy/drop-in center provides numerous opportunities for volunteers. You can participate as a clerical assistant, serve as a tutor for high school and GED students, or as a guidance counselor. There are also opportunities in fund-raising and special events. Most interestingly, volunteers can submit their own programs for approval, particularly in the arts. An application and orientation are required, as well as further training for certain programs. Volunteers are recognized with certificates and are invited to volunteer recognition parties.
