I hate writing bad reviews

I made the mistake of having lunch at the Irish Punt. I should have guessed it was going to be a bad experience when in total there were 6 people in the place. I ordered their 'Special of the day' but the only special thing about it was that it was not fit for human consumption. When I finally got the female bartender's attention (she was too busy playing with her phone), rather than noting the uneaten food on my plate, she gave me the check!

This is not a place I will be visiting in the future which is a shame because I like Irish bars and I work around the corner. I suspect that the other 5 glowing reviews of this place was written by the owners or staff.....

Great Beer, Great staff, Great bar

what a great place -Better than anywhere else downtown and friendly to boot. Why drink somewhere that the staff make no effort when you could be joining in at the Punt ....

• Cons: temperature (Hot in the summer, cold in the winter)

If you want to feel like you are the sexiest guy in town, then this is the place for you. Cutest bartenders and waitresses in town. Just watch out for SHANNON!!
