A little stodgy but great value - particularly on business. The previous review is right about the interior, the sales people and the slogans - and the place is a bit cheesy. BUT he's totally wrong about the prices and the knowledge of the sales people. Selections are limited but the primary business and business casual shoe manufacturers are well represented at, in my experience, extremely attractive prices. I've bought many pairs of Aldens there at $50-$75 off list. They sell a certain type of shoe - Alden, Allen Edmonds, Bass, Rockport - traditional business and bus casual type shoes. True, they ain't sellin' Ferragamos or Gucci loafers. But if basic high quality business shoes are what you want I think these guys can't be beat.
shoe.
Store offers an extensive and high quality shoe program, mainly dress shoes. Do not get tempted by the heavy discounts they pretend to offer as in the best case you save yourself 10 dollars on a pair of Aldens. The store is managed by two men that are as old as the interior, actually quite shabby for a store with a lot of prestigious shoe brands. I considered this part of the experience and so is the advice of the sales people. I think a car salesman can even learn from these guys. They kept on talking and talking saying everything you like to hear and often refering to slogans hanging on the walls. Again I found it more amusing than helpfull. I pretend to have some shoe knowledge and unfortunatley have to say these guys didn't. they even tried to sell me a pair that obviously was to small and to wide.
So overall two stars, one for the 10 dollar discount and one for the entertainment.
