Not too shabby for your last resort

I live a block from this place, and it's a god send. The next closest place to buy cigarettes after midnight is practically on the East River. Beer is pricey but again, at least they're selling it. The sandwiches are pretty good, although pretty basic. Also good for takeout or delivery - if you want 1 AM tiramisu, you can actually get it from this place. There's something to be said for that. But yes, it's a little intimidating - like, next door to a strip club and a s*x shop intimidating. If you want something nice go next door, if they're open (they probably aren't if you're not ditching work - unless you're a banker or stock broker, in which case, you're probably in it for the strip club anyway). But since they're probably not open, go here.

- Cons: Can be kinda skeevy; No Yuengling; Bottles are overpriced

Bloody Noses and Ladies

This is defintly the place to see some ladies, get into a fight and drink mass quantities of alcohol. I mean how many places in New York can you walk into a deli that is just a front for a steel cage death match of a bar. Complete with giant men and little ladies, big ladies, your ladies and my ladies. Ohh, did I forget to mention theladies. But, be forwarned, because if you go after a lady who has caught the eye of a giant man, then you will end up with a bloody nose. However, this may not be as bad as the itchy sensation associated with crabs. Damn, I do loves the ladies.

Good neighborhood deli

This is the real thing. Great pizza by the slice. Nice guys run the place and the prices are good. Oh, they have good breakfast sandwiches too. The only thing I find strange is that they have a back room that is a "bar". It's filled with construction guys and ladies of the evening. I think they drink there cheaply and then go next door to the strip club.
