Great Food, Horrible Service!. It's a shame the service was so terrible because otherwise I would go back. We were ignored for 15 min before our drink order was even taken even though it wasn't busy at all for a saturday afternoon (I am a former waitress so I can understand what it's like to have a bunch of tables demanding things). We ordered wings as an appetizer but of course they came out with the entree (major pet peeve). Once the food finally came out, our waitress just dropped it off and we never saw her again. No drink refills, how's the food, NOTHING. Again she wasn't busy because she was socializing with the bartender. Someone else finally dropped the check since our waitress couldn't be bothered. If they allow their waitresses with very long hair to wear it down, I can only wonder what other health code violations there are. The wings and fries were great, but it's just not worth it with the service. Guess that's why it wasn't crowded.

Best Wings in New York City!. I'm usually not one to review unless I'm really ecstatic about a place, and well I just couldn't resist writing about my wonderful experience at Mudville 9.

My best friend just moved to Tribeca a week or so ago, and has been to Mudville 9 three times already so she of course made us all come join her for what she says are the best ribs, wings, and burgers in town. Being total BBQ lovers we had to try the place out for ourselves before completely agreeing with her, which we of course did!

Besides the wings, ribs and fantastic beer selections she totally failed to mention the awesome mac & cheese, we will all be frequenting this place on a regular basis!!

wings/craft beer/tribeca. I went to watch the Yankees games during my lunch break yesterday. There are not that many great spots to watch sports and eat lunch by my office in Tribeca, by Mudville 9 is defintinely that.

I ordered 4 different types of wings, medium spicy, jerk, honey mustard and I had the sweet and sour bonless wings. All were amazing!!! The bartender offered me numerous different beer pairings for each flavor of wings.

There craft beer selection is tremnendous and from what the bartender told me it switches daily.

Love It. Food is superb. Beer selection is surprising. Price seals the deal. They always have a game on, which makes unwinding after work really nice for me.

Sunday Funday...DONE!. This place is wonderful. It makes for a good pregame on the weekends featuring beer towers (about 8 pints) and a rotating selection of craft beers on tap. The wings here are exceptional (except for the sweet BBQ flavor was not all that great). They have about 10 flat-screen TV's in the place always showing the hottest sports (NFL, UFC, etc.). Friendly staff and a great owner also keep me comin' back time and time again.

Great place to be harrased, Worst place for football. We had a reserved table and asked to watch the football game we were there to see. Despite promises, after an hour of waiting and paying for 3 rounds of drinks, the manager refused to change the channel on any of their TVs, despite having 3 TVs playing the same game right in front of us. He then told us to "chill out, it's just football" which seemed senseless considering that's why people show up to your bar at 1pm on a Sunday in the fall.

After cursing and insulting our table of 7 people, he groped one of our friends and stood next to our table telling us why he hates football fans.

Looking at the other reviews, this seems as if it's not the first time this has happened. I would suggest spending your time and money at any other bar in the city.

Worse Service Experience. The worst experience to date as a paying customer. I was with a group of six friends with a reservation for drinks and food. The inebriated and profane manager made unwanted passes at my female friends and was confrontational to the men of our group. We cut our losses after our drinks and never ordered food. After paying our check, as we were leaving we got a final round of curses from the manager. Save your time and money. We’ll never go back.

A great time was had!. I went to Mudville 9 a few weeks ago after it was recommended to me by one of my co-workers. I called them to make the reservation for 15-20 and they had no problem accomodating us. It turned out to be a party of 20+ and It was a tight fit but that staff made sure that we had enough chairs for everyone. The service was great. We didn't have to ask for refills. They just kept them coming and the food was good for bar-type food.

I will recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a fun but not overly crowded place to chill after work and hope that they enjoy it as much as we did.
