Some of the Driver are Mean and Pathetic..... Lower East Side Car Svc sucks. Those are my thoughts. I wouldn’t do business with them if they gave me money. Not a chance.

Some of their drivers are mean and pathetic like driver #112.

DO NOT USE!!. Wow. I don't know what happened, but I had been using these guys for years, and never again. Last Sunday, I ordered a car. First estimate was 15 minutes. Called back in 30, was told that the driver would be there in 1. Called back in another 15 and was told by the dispatcher that I should have called sooner and (this is a real quote): "This is kind of your fault." Amazing. Thankfully there's enough competition in this city to ensure these guys will be out of business soon enough.

Never again!. I am a recurring customer that uses Lower East Side Car service at least once or twice a week, but not anymore. Jose from dispatch has to be the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Their drivers like to hit on female passengers instead of paying attention to the road. Their prices change constantly, and half the time the drivers will say they know where they are going but drive you around in circles basically wasting your time. There are so many other car services in the downtown area that blow Lower East Side Car service away.

fast and reliable, friendly, not expensive. When I called 477-7777 to urgently take me to the emergency room of BIMC they were there in 3, and got me to the hospital within 10 minutes.

On another occasion, on the way to JFK forgot a camera in the car, called from destination about 24 hours later: they found the camera and delivered it to my friends in Central Manhattan.

cars were clean with good seats, drivers were friendly and charged standard fares.

Nightmare Service - Overpriced, Rude Drivers, Deceptive Estimates, Worst Experience Yet. I called Lower East Side Car Service and made a reservation to go to the Airport the night prior to my leaving NY. Once I was picked up, the driver proceeded to take me to the airport, then pulled over when he discovered I would be paying with a credit card. He said it would be dificult to pay once we arrived there, as the airport would be too busy at drop-off, therefore I had to pay at that time. I'd never experienced that before. He asked how much I was quoted and once I told him the price he said that the operator was mistaken and it would cost approximately double for him take me to Newark. After I objected for nearly 20 minutes and we called the operator, which the orginal operator was no longer there, I felt I had no choice but to pay his asking price, as I would miss my flight if I did not agree. It was 4am in the morning and most other car services wouldn't be able to meet such a last minute request, especially in the snow. Overall, it appeared to be a big scam in which they take advantage of customers in a vulnerable position. I would never reccommend anyone use there service.

Outshines other car services in NYC. Relative to general car service in NYC, Lower East Side's service is outstanding. Communication with the drivers is sometimes challenging, but they are consistently friendly, courteous, and flexible. This service has been extremely punctual every time I have used them. The staff is professional and the drivers seem to be happy. After several bad experiences with Carmel -- late pick-ups, no-shows, extremely rude, angry, & aggressive drivers -- I had given up hope on finding reliable and friendly car service in NYC. While I would have settled for simply reliable, LES has proved itself to be extremely pleasant as well!
