Celebrity designer's East Village boutique provides a space for fashion up-and-comers to shine.. In Short
Opened by Mark Montano (from TV's "While You Were Out" and "My Celebrity Home"), the store was once a kitschy catch-all for various fashions. The boutique is now run by Montano's protege Deirdra Mongan, designer of the line Punkin NYC. Mongan has streamlined its offerings to focus more on her dresses and coats with basic, flattering A-line silhouettes and sweet embellishments. Also on hand are a small selection of handbags and jewelry by other designer friends.
