It's also a great place for off-the-wall greeting cards, knickknacks, quirky gifts and novelty items, such as Ugly Dolls and Tim Burton-designed figurines.

Exit 9 is a fun place to browse and find that perfect, unique gift for someone. They have a very fun and funky selection of novelties, books, clothes, candles, cards, wrapping paper and home decor. It's pretty much one stop shopping for gifts. This is a small shop that is packed with so many funky finds that it's almost impossible to come away empty handed.

Exit 9 is a cute little village store. It has gift and knick-knacks for every kind of apartment. The store has an electic kind of theme. The staff is friendly, the prices are a little high. Good place to window shop on a nice day.

Whenever I'm in the East Village and looking to kill some time I head to Exit 9. They have great kitchy retro housewares, inexpensive jewelery, and really really REALLY great bags. A nice staff doesnt hurt either. No one likes to be sneered at when they enter a store.
