Tanya's been doing my hair at Ultra for nearly 10 years - she is the only hair professional I've found that understands my thick, curly, crazy hair. When Tanya cuts your hair, you don't just look good leaving the salon, you look good until your next haircut. She does a lot of work for movie and music industry clientele, and she?ll make you feel like a star yourself.

Ultra has been the place to go for over 10 years

I've been going to Ultra for 10 years and have consistently been more than satisfied with the style and service that I receive there. After seeing several different colorists and stylists over the years, I now see Rusty, who really does an incredible job keeping me blonde and fabulous at all times. He'll always go the extra mile on the cut to ensure that something interesting and unique is added to the shape and flow. The salon has great service and products and despite the easy going and friendly vibe of the salon, the quality of the cuts and colors there is as high end as it gets in NYC. Oh yeah, and they have a great eyebrow shaping guy and a lovely mani/pedi business there too. F train takes you 1 block from the salon, so very convenient too. Recommended without reservation.

Fabulous Hair With Rusty!

I began going to Ultra a few years ago. My first appointment with Rusty, I knew I finally found my place! Not only does he give me the perfect 'pretend' cut since I only like my ends dusted and overall shaped but my color has never looked better. Rusty is now my stylist for life!
