THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!!!. BIG APPLE FUTONS & MORE gladly took my money and then sent me VERY DAMAGED FURNITRE. They refused to exchange it and they refused to give me a refund.

Bed Insect filled furniture! eek. "I was pretty happy with this place at first. The bed I bought from them was reasonable and they delivered. Now, a few months later, however, I have a sneaking suspicion that the bed they sold me had been returned and they were dishonest to me about it. I think this because I just found a bunch of BED INSECTS (citisearch won't let me say the other word for insect that begins with b and has three letters) living in the wood of the frame. I called them and told them about it, thinking they would be as helpful as they were when they sold me the bed. This was not at all the case. They literally hung up on me and wouldn't even listen to what I said, which was really suspicious. Now I know these bed "insects" didn't come from the building because my bed is the only place in my apartment that has them, and no one else in the building has complained of a bed "insect" problem... not to mention I've lived here for two years with no sign of something like this. i fear, that since the bed I bought was a floor model, that the whole apple futon store may have a problem with bed "insects", especially since the place is so small and not exactly meticulously maintained. I urge everyone to think twice before buying from this store until they publish they've taken care of this. To anyone who has already bought from them... I would make a thorough check of the furniture you buught. Bed "insects" can lie dormant for months before showing up, I learned. I fear I won't be the only person to complain about this soon...."

Note: I originally posted this review on Yelp... just wanted to warn people everywhere! Bed "insects" are a problem that is really hard to deal with

worst futon ever. i ordered one of their double foam futons online, which was a huge mistake. this futon is lumpy, there is no support for my back, and i've been having backpain and headaches ever since i started sleeping on it. i've had a double foam futon before, and it was great. this one was a complete waste of my money, i'm going to have to throw it out and buy a real bed. it is so soft it does not even warrant the name futon.
