Beware.
If you pay with a card better check your online statement.
They charged my card not once, not twice, but three times.
Other than that, the food was so so - I've definitely had much better and at a better price. The drinks weren't that strong and were overpriced.

Great bar, HORRIBLE bartender!!!.
I'm writing this review because I love the place, (esp. for its great happy hour) and I don't want the place to get a bad rep due to one bad apple.
Came into the bar (1/19) and ordered a beer. I have an accent so I understand it's sometimes difficult to comprehend, but she truly made me feel like an idiot by making me repeat my order 5 times. She was rude while giving me my change, never looked at me in the eye. I don't need her to flirt with me, I just need some respect as a paying customer. She was also rude to my friends and noticed she was yelling at someone on the phone, I hope it was not a perspective customer.

AWFUL!. Its too bad I cant give a zero star rating. We went with a group of 6 @ 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Place wasnt busy at all, only 3 tables in use. Now I know why, it was really BAD. Service was distracted and had to request a lime wedge 4 times for my drink. I ordered the lime wedge when I ordered the drink!! Meals 4 out of 6 were wrong and we got our food 1 hour & 30 minutes later! Server had an attitude, manager was only mildly interested in our complaints. We ended up paying for our drinks & leaving......DO NOT GO THERE!!

Great spot for private parties. I've hosted two office happy hours at Dewey's and plan to return for more events. Ed the owner has been a pleasure to work with in coordinating the events. The upstairs bar is a great venue with plenty of room and the convenience of a private bar and televisions. Definitely a great place to go - no attitude, just a relaxed good time.

Inviting atmosphere.
I have gone to Dewey's many times since discovering it several years ago. The atmosphere is inviting, the staff is always cordial and the owner has always been readily available to determine "how things were going".
Great place to stop and enjoy a little "down time"!!!

Best Place after work near Madison Sq Park. I would highly recommend heading to Dewey's after work for good drinks and a pleasant atmosphere. The lively downstairs bar is great for a quick drink and chat with other local professionals and the upstairs bar is good for unwinding. Always great mix of music. Bring a group of colleagues from work and make it a night. If Ed is managing that day, make sure to say hello. Regulars are welcome.

A City Favorite. I always have a great time at Dewey's Flatiron. The food is excellent, bartenders are great and I LOVE the upstairs lounge! The music completes the atmosphere. This is one of my favorite bars in the city.

Here Ye, Here ye, Ugly people!. We went online for a singles party for Valentines day, we found this place which seemed to be a great time, and it turned out to be horrible. There was a 2 for 1 drink special til 11 and we had enough time for one order..One of my friends said their "Well" Drink definitely tasted like it came from a well, another said it tasted like a dirty sock, and was just overall bad...The bathrooms i could of swore came from willy wonka that the oompa loompas used...I dont know who said that it was a good "anti valentines" party but they shouldnt dare attempt that next year...For a Bar its a great name, but try getting a few decent looking people there next time...The only good thing was the music, i cant say anything bad about that...

Great atmosphere!. Love this place!!! My friends and I have been coming here for a few years now and we always have a great time! It's a perfect place for after work Happy Hour.....sometimes we end up staying all night. They play great music and the small lounge area upstairs is funky and comfy. I highly recommend checking out Dewey's!

Perfect Spot!. We have an event at Dewey's every year; a fundraiser to help raise awareness about Autism. The food is always outstanding, the drinks go down smoothly and the atmosphere can't be beat. The lounge upstairs is comfortable and warm...a great place to meet friends for a drink or organize a bigger gathering. The people are accommodating, friendly and genuine. I look forward to going there each year and highly recommend you finding the opportunity to stop in for a bite and some drinks!
