Such a disappointment

I make an appt for a saturday wax, facial and two manicures. I ask to make the appt 1 hour later two hours before the appt, I am told "no problem". I show up 1/2 hour early - I am happy to be told that the waxer was waiting for me - then why did I have to wait 20 minutes? I was taken and my friend had a manicure while I was waxed. I could tell immediately that the manicure was going to be awful but figured - sometimes it is good and sometimes it's not. I was not mad. I went to the dryer for my nails, sat for 15 minutes. I did not like the way my nails looked but kept my mouth shut. I went to the front to wait for my friend...i started to notice my nails had hard bubbles...I went to the front desk and told the most obnoxious woman I have ever met that there is something wrong with my nails. She immediately sent me back to the manicurist to fix it. As the manicurist was removing my polish (she was MAD) the obnoxious woman up front and the manicurist both said to me that I didn't dry my nails right. I couldn't imagine what I did wrong. I didn't smudge my nails...i just sat. I couldn't have made bubbles myself. (blaming me for bubbles - smudging I understand, bubbles, no) I knew my friend was going to be ready momentarily and I didn't want the same manicurist to do my nails, again, so I said, just don't charge me for my manicure and I would leave with no polish on my nails (I couldn't wait to get out of there) - the obnoxious woman said to me "I am not giving you a free manicure"....a free manicure - I was walking out of the salon with no polish on my nails - just to get the heck out of there. In conclusion, I paid my bill NEVER TO RETURN.

Best - French Manicure in NYC

I just got the best manicure in my life and I can’t believe it was so inexpensive. It was like only $15.00 plus the tip I left to get a French manicure. I’ve been to dozens of salons in NYC and I’ve never had one that cost so little.

After they did the shaping and cuticle stuff, they gave me a hand massage. I wasn’t expecting it but it felt great. I loved it!

I didn’t have time for a pedicure, but next time I go I’ll make sure I do.

I highly recommend Dyanna Spa to anyone.

My Nails are Super FAB!

OMG...I went today to get the OPI french manicure soak-off gel and let's just say I cannot stop staring at my nails. I'm in a wedding on Saturday and needed something that can last. Anyhoo, I called to make an appointment and it was easy. The place is super clean and modern. I was placed with Marlene who is ultra-knowledgeable when it comes to nails. She did a FANTASTIC job. I will definitely go back for my nails and to try the other services. Thanks again!

No fuss all around good waxing place, especially bikini wax.

I had never previously experienced any waxing treatments as I had always assumed that the pain would be absolutely unbearable. It wasn’t until a friend promised me that the pain wasn’t bad that I decided to try it. I headed into Dyanna Spa for a bikini wax treatment where I found a tranquil atmosphere and friendly staff which helped to reduce my nerves (thank god!). The technicians thoroughly explained to me how the wax treatment would work before to make sure I understood everything. The treatment was not as bad as I expected- there was slight plain but it was similar to ripping off a Band-Aid. Overall I was surprised at how simple and stress-free the process was at Dyanna Spa, and had a truly positive first experience there. And not to mention the hair will not grow back for up to a month, yay!

Terrible Wax!

I had my first and last regular bikini wax here yesterday. I made the appointment here because the reviews were so good. It was by far the most painful wax I've ever had and my skin was burning and stinging afterward which has never happened to me before. It's now 24 hours later and my skin is still painful to the touch and I'm covered in red bumps. I have sensitive skin and usually have some redness for a few hours after but it disappears by the next morning. Will never go here again.
