DR ZIMMERMAN -- A GREAT EYE DOCTOR!. I'VE BEEN WITH DR. ZIMMERMAN 10 YEARS, AND HE'S ABSOLUTELY THE BEST EYE DOCTOR I'VE HAD. HE'S KNOWLEDGABLE, CONCERNED, KIND AND CONSIDERATE, METICULOUS, PLEASANT, AND LOVES WHAT HE DOES. FOR OVER 10 YEARS, HIS WORK, AS I JUDGE IT, HAS BEEN EXCELLENT. I AM COMPLETELY HAPPY AND SATISFIED AT GRAMERCY. THE OFFICE IS NEAT AND CLEAN, AND THE PERSONNELL ARE ALL PLEASANT AND KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THE PRICES ARE QUITE FAIR. AND DR. ZIMMERMAN DOES NOT KEEP HIS PATIENTS WAITING.

DEFINITELY, VISIT GRAMERCY, AND YOU'LL NEVER NEED TO GO ELSEWHERE. YOU'LL BE A DR. ZIMMERMAN FAN-- AS I AM!!

Terrible customer service. Frames are terribly overpriced as are the lenses. Don't expect to be treated with respect by the horrible sales girls. Take your business elsewhere unless you really love to be waited on by people who think they are better that you despite the fact that they have a minimum wage job in retail. Ladies, get over yourselves.

My eyes haven't felt this good in years!!. I went to Gramercy Park Optical bc they accept my insurance. I was seen by Dr. Perklasky a few weeks ago and for a follow up appointment the other day and am very pleased with the care I received. I have a high prescription and astigmatism and have always had a lot of trouble with contact lenses, and felt like at other places they treat me like a "complicated patient." Dr. Perklasky took her time with me and suggested that a large part of my problem is that my eyes are very dry, and recommended a different type of contact lens and cleaning solution. I was about to give up on contact lenses, but once the dryness problem was solved, I am wearing contacts more comfortably than ever before - all because the doctor was so attentive and thorough. Very impressed with how professional and dedicated the doctor and staff are!

Oh, also, the office has this really cool camera -- you can see the back of your own eye and the doctor explains everything to you. Just an added bonus!

great patient care. I live in the gramercy area and woke up with an eye infection last saturday. I called gramercy park optical to see if i could be seen- and the dr was nice enough to squeeze me in. I feel bad I forgot her name- but it is long- starts with a "P". She was really professional and comforting and treated my infection- which was related to my contact lenses.

The office was clean and they had a lot of modern technology. I had to get new glasses bc i was not able to wear my contacts with the infection and the staff was really great about helping me pick out an affordable stylish pair. When I am due for my next full eye exam- I will definitely be going to Gramercy Park Optical.

Aweful customer service. The doctor was nice, but I was never told in advance that the lens evaluation fee will be charged separately. It made me pretty upset when I later found out $200 at my surprise. They were trying to hold on my prescription until I made a phone call. Also, their lenses are over-priced. You can find much cheaper lenses from many other places.

great doctors and thorough eye exams. I usually go here because I see Dr. Strauss, who is great. This time I saw Dr. Fronhofer because Dr. Strauss was on maternity level. I was so relieved that she was great too! She was also really efficient, explained everything, and did a really thorough job. She even gave me advice on which frames she liked on me. I had a great eye exam this year as well and I'll keep going back!

Excellent doctor. I always go back here because of Dr. Strauss. She makes you feel at ease and is very good at explaining why you should or shouldn't do certain things, especially when it comes to contact lenses. She is an excellent eye doctor and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Soild Care, No Sales Pitch. I just finished my eye exam with Dr. Strauss and I have to say that she was great. She was professional, quick, and honest. In addition, she was great about letting me know what she was doing and why for each exam. It turned out that I could use a very low prescription for specific situations, but instead of going into a salespitch (as I've seen at other places) ,she very honestly advised me that I would really only need glasses to drive at night and that they probably weren't necessary. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything which was great. Overall, a very satisfactory visit.

Great contact lenses. I was having problems with my contacts for over one year. I finally went to Gramercy Park Optical after a friend recommended it. I had a thorough exam, and then a contact lens exam. I was fit with the newest Accuvue lens, and tried monovision, to help me read. It is working great. They also changed my solutions which they felt was making me uncomfortable. These lenses are the best I ever had, and the new solution seems to be working well. I can also read now without reading glasses. I highly recommend this office, which is modern, has great equipment, and a nice staff.

Fab eye care!. I recently had an eye exam at Gramercy Park Optical, as I do each year. I have been going there for about 5 years now and find I get excellent care. The examinations are incredibly thorough and the doctor really listens to my needs, always fitting me with the newest contacts. They took my vision insurance plan and I got gorgeous Prada frames for my new glasses. I am thrilled as usual with the service both from the doctor and the optician that helps me select frames every year.

I have recommended my collegues and friends and they have all thanked me and are as happy as I am. Thanks, as usual, Gramercy Park Optical for such great service.
