“great, convienant pooch friendly and owner appealing place to bring your dog.”
All I can say is WOW! Our new puppy,
Leah, was having some serious separation anxiety. So much so that I got a nasty call from my front desk in the middle of the day that my neighbors were not too pleased with her barking and wining. So after running home from work and some quick googling, I called New York Dog Spa & Hotel. Not only did they come to my rescue, since it was only for a few hours they didn't even charge me for the day!
Everyone there was so nice. When I walked in, they knew I was there to pick up Leah... they already knew her name after three hours! We were so impressed we canceled our scheduled grooming at another place and booked it here instead. If your puppy or doggy needs anything, this is the one place in NYC to go.
I've been taking my two guys (Jack Russells) there for a while now. As soon as they see where they are going they begin to get excited because they know whats in store for them. They love this place so much when I go to pick them up they look at me like, "not yet, we're having too much fun". The staff is friendly, accommodating, informative, and careful to follow specific directions concerning the dogs in their care. I appreciate knowing my guys are well taken care while I'm not around to do it myself.
This place is pretty strict with the
vaccine requirements to get groomed here, which I like. Their customer service is excellent and I was able to secure an appointment the day I called!
Jeremy was my groomer the first time and he definitely seemed to love animals. I am confident that my Ramon is in good hands. The locale is very convenient and not to mention, very clean and well-kept.
My sister recommended this place to me and she has taken her two dogs here for a long time. She raves about it as well.
Excellent boarding facilities and friendly, highly-competent staff. Much better than Biscuits and Bath, which left my dog traumatized after a short stay.
My family has been going to the Spa since they opened on 18th Street, quite a few years ago! Jake, and now Robbie, love spending their days playing with their pals. I am completely comfortable leaving Robbie in their care, whether it's for the afternoon, or while I'm out of town. Run, don't walk to New York Dog Spa!
We left our dog twice for day care and were very pleased. This is a very clean dog boarding facility, does not smell at all. The staff is very pleasant and the rates are reasonalbe. They have lots of room and dogs for her to play with. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a dog.
I have been going to New York Dog Spa and Hotel for 2 years now. Everyone there is really nice and they always try to accommodate any requests. My boys seem to like it and they get plenty of play time with the rest of the dogs there. Definitely recommended to any dog lover out there!
New York Dog Spa is great. I stop in there once every couple of weeks for my 1 yr old boxer. Great selection of Kong Toys, treats, etc. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Bringing our pup for the 1st time for boarding next week... have only heard good things about the hotel!
The new york dog spa and hotel has been a great experience for my dog and I ( Anne Mae my chiweenie ) had a positive adjustment to day care and the staff were a friendly , helpful group of people!!!! Thank you so much !!!
