Owner is a JERK!!!. I just moved into the neighborhood two days ago and to support the small mom and pop stores I went to this hardware/paint store to get hooks to hang my pictures. I needed 15 hooks. When I came home to use them I realized the nails are too long so I went back the next morning to return. They remembered me but would not return or give me a store credit because I did not have my receipt. The owner then accused me of trying to return hooks from another hardware store since I did not bring them back in his plastic bag. I explained that I just moved and used any plastic bag I could find in my apartment. He was so nasty. I will never go back into that store. I am completely shocked by his behavior. I have been living in NYC for over 20 years and never encountered an owner of a small business so unhelpful to a customer. I hope he goes out of business!!!!!

knew the product and gave good advise. Need some pretty high end floor finishing products and this was the only place in the 5 boors that actually stocks it...Martin was very knowledgeable , knew the product and gave good advise. my experience here has been nothing but good...

so helpful in explaining my paint options. The salesperson was so helpful in explaining my paint options and helping me with the swatches. Definitely going back to buy my paint from them and will update with my experience!
