My Green Heaven. A really lovely selection of high-quality produce at rock-bottom prices. How this gem can afford Chelsea Market rent, I'll never know, but thank goodness it can. Plenty of bulk goods (and candy) round out the offerings of fresh fruit, veggies and herbs, and there are even a few cheeses and salad dressings available, as well as prepared fruit salad and a salad bar. I always end up with way more than I'd planned to buy -- but who can resist asparagus at $1.99 a pound?

Excellent produce. The selection of produce here is always of very high quality. You won't find every exotic thing you can imagine, but there's quite a lot here. And the prices are remarkably low. Among the over-priced specialty stores in Chelsea Market, this is a real treasure.
