Fantastic French Pastries. I've been searching for a place like this for years since my favorite French pastry place closed. Magnificent collection of authentic French pastries that no one except an authentic French bakery can make. The only drawback of pastries this good is that you'll be spoiled forever. Chocolate mousse and meringue made the old fashioned way with the best fruit tarts and danish you'll ever have. The pistachio mousse is original and fantastic. It's worth a long car ride to stock up for the week and even the flaky pastries are good as new after a quick pop in the toaster oven.

Awesome Duck Pate Sandwich. Great selection of sweets and pastries, but I was impressed most by the sandwiches. The duck pate alone is worth a trip to Chelsea

Have Pastries, Will Travel. My sister-in-law brought their almond croissants to us on the North Fork 2 days after our son was born. They didn't last through the morning. Best I've ever had!

Quaint French bakery sweetens Chelsea's Ninth Avenue.. In Short
At this French bakery and cafe, you half expect to bump into an absentminded European with a baguette under one arm. A vast array of edible eye candy--glossy pies, cakes and tempting bite-sized sweets--beckons behind glass cases. Chelsea regulars favor the croissants (regular, almond, or ham and cheese) for breakfast; while lunch veers from the norm with a selection of ready-made sandwiches with stuffing of pheasant, duck pate and smoked trout. Wooden tables and chairs allow customers to enjoy their cafe au lait in-house.

Masterpiece napoleon. The best napoleon in NYC, an utter masterpiece! There is no way to improve on their napoleon. The heavenly cream filling is sensational matched against the crisp layers of fresh pastry. No soggy, day old pastry here!! And, to take it to another level there are fresh raspberries inside the filling, and a slightly sweet top. Not too sweet, just right, actually it's perfection. Yum!!!!

A little Taste of Heaven. Numerous tiny desserts to choice from. Not a single miss to date. Highly underrated.

Try Eclaire au chocolat!. My friend told me about my place and I just liked so much french style cakes! Especially I found the eclaires were exellent. 3 dollars for 1 eclaire sounds quite expensive in Paris, but its tast just reminds me of my Paris!

I haven't bought french baguette yet, as it looked a bit diffirently, but I will try one day some croissants...

This place is not always overcrowded, which is good for me, and there are places you can eat and take a good, real expresso!
