What People Are Saying About Camouflage Clothing

Where else in all of New York can a shopper be greeted with the crescendo of a blasting symphony? This cozy menswear boutique sets quite a different tone, offering muted but distinguished clothes that would suit an English gentleman or a Barney's salesman equally. Some of the selected designers are familiar--Helmut Lang, Paul Smith--while others--Duffer of St. George, Fred Perry--are more esoteric. Trendy London label Duffer's gorgeous wool Paddington jackets are in a class by themselves, while Fred Perry offers sporty gear like a rugged and old-school warmup suit.
What a rude son of a bitch

Went in there today, to see what was on sale after the summer. After browsing a pair of pants, the shop queen told me that he didn't like the way that I had set them back on the shelf, as though I was supposed to fold them back just like the shop keeper does. What a jerk. I've spent untold dollars in there over the past 13 years. In today's economy, they've got a lot of balls insulting customers who are even willing to enter their high priced store. Let's face it- not everyone is willing to drop $400 for a pair of pants right about now. Fire that jerk, and hire some one who really wants a job.
- Pros: none what so ever
- Cons: overpriced rudeness
One of my favorite stores

I disagree with the negative comment below, I don't find the service to be rude here at all. This is one of my favorite stores in the city, and I have shopped here with my husband and known the owner for years. He's a smart and funny guy, has an amazing eye for fashion, which is evident since the store has been around for over 30 years.
Maybe there are some better deals at the Co-op, but that's because it's a department store clearance sale...so don't expect to find your size. Nor do I appreciate shopping with a million franctic people and no dressing rooms, but that's just me. I also find that Camouflage often brings new lines in from Europe BEFORE Barney's, Saks, and the like. What people have to understand is this kind of store is not the Gap. It's not mass market. It is a rare gem now in Manhattan, with the type of personal service you cannot expect to find anywhere else in the city.
- Pros: Great selection and service
- Cons: Not near many other stores

This store is simply amazing. I have been a customer for about 10 years now and I have yet to be disappointed by the clothes or the service. The owner is personable, takes pride in what he sells, and provides a pleasant consumer experience.
- Pros: Great quality clothes, service and more
- Cons: Its all the way downtown
