While its boasts may be limited to great mashed potatoes, unpretentious patrons and a decent jukebox, sometimes that's more than enough. In the Stoned Crow's Village basement among the brownstones, you can shoot pool on a table in the back room while admiring the vintage '60s concert posters--though the best ones are in the bathrooms.
The Draw
Long a favorite with neighborhood regulars and budget-minded NYU students, the Stoned Crow satisfies its following with cheap drinks and a down-home vibe. There's a TV in the front bar and one in the back for those who want to catch the game, and the stuffed crows aren't really as creepy as they sound.

great little place & cant beat the drink prices. however, i will never go back again!! the one bartender was rude and accussed us of not tipping him and didnt want to serve us. of course he was completely wrong! you'll notice him as the one who he claims was "born and raised in nyc" so therefore he knows what he's talking about. i would suggest only going here if you want to deal with an overconfident, rudeand obnoxious bartender who deserves a swift kick to the curb!!

I truly loved hanging out at the Stoned Crow. It seems like it would be a little hole in the wall, because if you don't know where it is you might trip over it! But it's so great, great service and great environment. If you're looking for a place to mellow out and hang out w. friends, this is it! They used to have a pool table in the back room, which was an added bonus (but I haven't been there in a while so I'm not sure it's still there!)

I love that bars like this still exist in the ever upscaling Village. Vinyl chairs with square cafe/diner like tables. Dark and quiet (except when someone's had too much) Good place to hang and talk and the jukebox is incredible.
