Mellow & Mixed in Chelsea

OK, they don't have wood, and they do have music... BUT, they have a pool table, an extremely friendly and mixed (racially and age-ily) clientele. One of the few non-gay bars in the area, it's got a lot of broken mirrors on the walls, a few couches and tables and a long bar. The pool table seems to be the focus of the place, but I spent the whole evening without playing once.

They have a decent beer selection and a huge notebook of take-out menus for the calling. Beware though, some places are pretty far and some others have a pretty hefty minimum. All-in-all though, dusk is a fine place to hang out after dusk. Not loud, no pressure, just drink, talk, and play pool. 00Drink Club NYC is a roving group of NYC drinkers

Dusk Lounge!!

I've been to Dusk many times. It's a very good neighborhood spot with good drinks, good prices(good for NYC) and good service. The bartenders always seem happy and make you feel at home. Highly recomended!

Great drink specials with even better bartender!!

I went to Dusk on my last happy hour out with my coworkers in NY. We were looking for a low key atmosphere with reasonably priced drinks and good music--this was just what we were looking for! But best of all was our bartender, Paul. He was so friendly and remembered my name (I mean, doesn't everybody wanna go to a bar where everyone knows your name??)! Definately go here!

• Pros: Great Bartenders! Good drink specials!
• Cons: Lights in the womens restroom are too dim...a girl can't even see her own reflection in the mirror!

Great Chill Bar

I've been coming to Dusk for years now. The see thru mirror over the urinals in the bathroom is a great distraction while your draining the lizard. The prices are decent for the area and while it gets a little crowded during the clubbers pre-gaming hour, it rarely seems to get super crowded. The staff is usually friendly and prompt with a drink. I've had parties here, brought dates here and brought out of town friends here and everyone leaves remembering Dusk fondly.

• Pros: Nice decor, Fair Prices, Not Too Crowded
• Cons: Sometimes Too Crowded to Play Pool

"GREAT BARTENDERS" is right! I highly highly recommend going here--good music, light atmosphere perfect lighting, pool tables, sofas, clean bathrooms and again, GREAT Bartends
