A Wondrous Shop !.
What a lovely and intimate book store! I've shopped there multiple times for birthday gifts for my nieces and nephews and each time the sales associates are able to guide me to the best books based upon the child's reading level and preferences. The sales people are very friendly and knowledgeable- they have read many of the children's/young adult books and provide great insight into what kids are into these days and what is a good read. As for my purchases, I've had many enjoyable conversations with my nieces/nephews, always telling me how much fun and interesting the books are.

can you update your stock please.
I went in there the other day with my kids and the store has not gotten any new stock in at least a year...of course there is the new book here and there, but the shelves do not change much.
I use to love the store before they moved from next door a few years ago....the owner has too big of an ego and not enough vision.
I find that Barnes and Noble has better, more and current stock, plus you can order books there as well.

An enchanting selection of kids' books old and new..
The Scene
You'll go whizzing back to the happiness of your youth when you step into this warm, carpeted store with aisles large enough to sit Indian-style and get lost in a book by Roald Dahl. Cat Stevens plays softly overhead as moms and dads browse through the selection.
The Goods
Everything you ever read as a child, from the "Goodnight Moon" years all the way up to Madelene L'Engle's "A Wrinkle in Time." In addition to the comprehensive selection of new titles, there's also a great array of antique books. Reclaim your childhood by investing in a first edition Charlotte's Web for $1,500, or an entire set of first edition Winnie the Pooh books for $8,500.
