Surprised! Welcome back. I only recently found out that this was the same store that had the tragic fire over at Greenwich Avenue! Glad they are back! Every year my wife and I would go to the old location and buy a bunch of party supplies and party favors for our twin daughters' birthday. The staff were always helpful and best of all, knowledgeable on how to throw a great party.

Had another great birthday party for my twins this past weekend thanks to them and I just want to express my joy that they are back again (in a much much much bigger store might I add). Best of Luck!

Best party store. Great Selection. Great Help. Best party store in NYC.

Run to the store, they have absolutely everything, from balloons to party favors, and everything else you ever wanted.

I was just at the party store for my Kids birthday and they were very helpful. They helped me thru the little details and help me pick out right party favors. Super friendly and extremely helpful.

Bad Business. Please avoid this place at all costs. They do not know how to conduct business. I planned my daughters 1st birthday for the last months. I bought supplies from various places and purchased $200 worth of supplies from this store. First off the materials were of poor quality and not durable. They claim to be the cheapest....I now know why. The party settings were damp and soggy within the first few minutes into the party. The party sets purchased on ebay were far superior. The worst party yet was that I had ordered balloons to be delivered to the party on the 12/27. Yes, I understand that there was a huge snow storm. I had to walk to various places and received numerous calls and cancellations that day. The key word here is calls. I received neither a call and email or any notification that Village Party Store would not be able to deliver. I called a least a dozen times and left messages but to no avail, they were unreachable. Consequently I had to pay an extra $80 for balloons that day. Basically, without the balloons that party design and concept would have failed miserably, but luckily I found a place that offered exorbitant prices for the balloons. The next day I get call from an employee saying they were "sorry" when I asked why they could call me. There lame excuse was they had no way or checking their message machine or any way of locating my number to cancel. Excuse me? My grandmother who is not tech savy is able to do so and you claim you can't? Couldn't find my number? Ever heard of a computer? I asked if he could at least cover the difference I had to pay because there stone age information infrastructure. He replied we already lost money because we could not open the store because of the weather and was not willing in reimburse me the additional costs I had to incur, but would only refund what I paid for balloons that I never received. Had they offered some restitution instead of a lame excuse....they would have kept my business and that of my friends and community. Bad business people.

Great Store: Relocated to 8th Street (%th and University). This is a wonderful store with a great staff! The store experienced a fire a while back and I am so happy to find they are here again! The new place is spacious and back in the Village just in time for Halloween!
