Salonat 5E19 – I have been having pedicures done by Elsa Levy for a number of years now and I hope I never have to go anywhere else. She is a lovely, Argentinian lady who is gentle and expert at working on my very calloused
feet, which have been called by others "a challenge". She takes a good hour to work on them. The pedicure is long lasting and beautifully done. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for far above average work.
Among the five or six people who have tried to make my feet look ladylike, she succeeds and she is by far the best.
Splendid manicures, pedicures, and waxing – I have been going to Elsa since her days at Barney's. I knew I loved her and her work--LONG lasting manicures and pedicures, practically painless and perfectly-shaped brow waxes, and GREAT conversation. And comfortable private space.
Then last month a friend gave me a gift certificate for one of those well-known and supposedly swanky mid-town day spas. I decided to try a manicure and pedicure from them. What a disappointment! The manucurist talked only about herself and her troubles. I had to share the space with a person who made an awuful scene about not finding a color of polish she liked. That other manicurist ripped the cuticles from my nails, and the polish she applied lasted only a day on my hands and trhee days on my feet. That whole process cost twice as much as Elsa's wonderful, long-lasting manicures and pedicures.
I will never go anywhere but to Elsa if I can help it.
Meticulous Manicures – Elsa Levy is the BEST manicurist I have ever had. I sat down to have my manicure and pedicure done in a beautiiful, private room. She manicured my nails with such care, almost as if she were creating a whole new nail. The way she applied nail varnish made the manicure last a full week and then some. I purchased this wonderful nail protein that has already improved my nails. She also does this interesting form of hair removal called sugaring. It's all natural sugar, lemon and water formulated into a paste. The best thing about it is, it hurts less than waxing and you can do it when the hair is shorter. She did my bikini, which usually kills me and it did not hurt as much. Not to mention she is a Barney's NY/Roger Thompson Salon veteran and the sweetest woman I have ever met. LOVE HER!!!!
You have to try her!!!!!!! Appointments in advance are recommended but not always necessary.
