Whoever says the guac is to die for is lieing, it's watery and lacks texture, with that said this place still recieves 5 stars for being the cause of an amazing night; great drinks, turns into a sort of salsa club during after hours, definetly a fun time with the girls.

I'm not sure what was worse, the food or the staff!? The food was stale and tasted nothing like Mexican food. I later found out their last health inspection by the City of New York found COLD FOOD and MICE; not to mention they failed (miserably!) 2 inspections in 2010! Look at their health violations yourself at: a816-restaurantinspection.nyc.gov

The staff was extremely pushy and rude. Specifically, the bouncers act like ignorant apes -- I saw them mistreat customers in line including myself. Whatever you do, do not put your card up for a tab and go outside. The bouncers can arbitrarily not allow you back in and you will find yourself calling NYPD in order to get your drivers license and credit card back, as I did.

I would rather be deployed to Afghanistan than go back to this rat hole (literally).

Great Music

We did reservations here for a friends surprise engagment. This place is great lots of energy the music is fantastic, the DJ is better then any big shot out there. There was not one sucky song from the moment we went in to the moment we left. The staff is great very nice guys they were asking us if we were ok if we needed anything else. The food wasnt so great well for me at least, and everything thats on the menu needs to stay like that they do not remove any ingredients for example chile. That was a big downfall for me becuase am a picky eater, but hey it is a mexican cuisine place so not much to complain about there. The drinks were great they have awesome bartenders who are very busy so prepare to wait a while for your drinks if you're going to the bar. After our reservation was over we stood by the bar and danced the night away, It turned kinda into a night club everyone got up and started dancing. I did not want to leave the DJ played everything for everyones style he played salsa, merengue, bachata, reggeaton, cumbia, and old school classics like micheal jackson. Going again this friday that is my new hot spot. If interested they have comedy the last weds of every month, Lets see how that is.

Good place to eat, a lot of energy

This place has a good atmosphere and the music is great. Spanish food, Spanish music, very up beat and different. They make you want to go out and party! Bar tenders very friendly, great drinks. Will visit again soon:)

nice place to eat

This place has a great rythm, the waitress was very pleasant. Nice atmosphere. there is a Con, although I am spanish, there was no english music which may be a turn off for people who dont speak spanish.
