truly great and unique. I actually stumbled across Versani one night while just wandering around the City one night after I came out of school. I had been searching for an engagement ring that would be THE ONE, but could not find it. Everything that I kept coming across was just too blah and traditional. Then that one night I happen to walk over from Chambers St (in which my school is located) and ended up in Chinatown and then Little Italy and then Soho. Well I happen to look at a window of a little shop and there I saw something that interested me...Jewelry made out of gold, silver, and wood!!!! I went in and I was in heaven. The tranquility of all the natural elements in jewelry that was as modern and contemporary as me...Then I happen to look in one of the cases in which they had rings and there it was my engagement ring to me and the one that I would then give my fiancé. He thought that I was nuts while I described what I wanted but then when he saw what I wanted he got it for me...I love it and have continued to purchase my jewelry from there...Besides the beauty the prices are not so bad for something that is truly great and unique.

OMG!. I LOVE the silver designs in this store. I spent over an hour just trying things on and admiring the silver and wood jewelry. Ahhh...! Great everyday stuff as well as really glam fun stuff too. This place is totally worth some window shopping and splurging.

you love them for their electiveness.. First and foremost; big ups to Pat B for initially introducing me to this place. We went to look at tie-clips, since as a Physicians Assistant, it's prolly not sanitary to have his tie flapping about when treating patients' open wounds and whatnot. But while browsing around, I noticed that with a good 70% of the merchandise being large, masculine, and solidly bold, Versani seems to cater mainly toward handcrafted men's jewelry - which is a rarity. And I loved it. So much so, that I recently dragged Peter here. He's been talking about getting into jewelry lately, possibly starting with a statement ring or a nice watch. So we entered the comfortable subterranean shop with artfully arranged display cases, organized by similar materials, along the length of Versani's exposed brick walls. On one hand, I gotta admit; with some of the collections revolving around the concept of embossed snakeskin leather or dark denim set in super-shiny sterling silver, the first thing I thought was "AHHHH - GUIDO GEMS!!!" But not everything is as ostentatious; some of the brushed silver pieces are real works of art, and display a quiet dignity that would be more appropriate for those of the white collar (versus popped collar) set. And while they don't have an extensive men's watch section, there's also a few really nice pieces here for women, ranging from simple gold hoops to elegant, emerald-cut precious stone cocktail rings, which I dig. Did I also mention the antiques section in the rear? For all you taxidermy lovers, they have a small collection of stuffed mammals scattered amongst hand-blown wine decanters, vintage bars disguised as large radios, and crystal knickknacks. Conclusion; like that weird older uncle, Versani is an odd little jewelry store...but you love them for their electiveness.

Unique & Beautiful Silver Pieces. About a decade ago, a friend of mine got me a beautiful link bracelet for my birthday and I have been hooked ever since. I ALWAYS find something I love. Over the years I have made MANY purchases and have LOVED each one. Especially since Ari makes exclusive lines that never show up again. Unfortunately, I have lost some of those pieces and can't get them replaced, but I always find a replacement for the ring or bracelet that I have lost. The pieces that you purchase are unique. I always get complemented on my Versani jewlery. The great thing is I can walk in and if Yaf (my favorite sales person) is there I will definitely walk out with more than 1 piece! I am a fan from Versani's beginnings and continue to be a loyal fan of Versani! "Stay Cool. Be Strong."

Beautiful and Orginal Designs. I had walked past this hidden gem a few times and I finally had a chance to stop by a couple weeks ago. I walked in to this super chill, Buddah Bar blaring, cellar-like jewelry store and immediately loved it. I was a bit intimidated at first with the selection and the ultra-hip sales assistants they had, but everyone was very helpful and very friendly. The jewelry is just amazing - mostly silver pieces - everything looks so different and so unique. I'm a Chrome Hearts girl and I found Versani to have a lot more personality to their pieces. Though some of their jewelry can be a little pricey - for what you get I think it's worth it. Not to mention the workshop is downstairs and they do on-sight repairs to any of your Versani pieces.

The girls sat with me and brought out trays and trays of rings, she suggested a few pieces and was really helpful with out being pushy with sales. I walked out with a beautiful silver pendant and long silver chain for just over $300 - I know I will own this piece forever and I get tons of compliments. I plan on going back to get much more!
