OUTRIGHT RUDE AND INSULTING!. I have never seen such RUDE service in my 5 years in NY and just outright INSULTING! The shopkeeper proceeded to chastise the woman ahead of me in line for calling one of the baked goods by the wrong name. Then proceed to rudely make me aware that a different box is needed for the amount of cheesecake cupcakes after I changed my mind from 6 to 5. Even though the box wasn't even assembled, he had to sigh loudly and roll his eyes at me in annoyance.

Although the cheesecakes were good I have no idea how a place like this exists with someone as rude as that behind the counter. If you feel like being belittled and yelled at please stop at Eileens.

Good cheesecake, incredibly rude service. Yes, the cheesecake here is decent, but the service is terrible. My friend and I walked in to find the guy behind the counter sitting near the back at his computer. When we tried to get his attention to order, he seemed annoyed and then proceeded to rush us when I hesitated over what drink I wanted. We paid, and my friend held his hand out to receive his change, but this guy went ahead and slammed the coins on the counter. I have no idea what set this dude off, since we are not obnoxious or fussy customers. His behavior was totally out of line. It was difficult to enjoy my supposed treat after that. You can get good cheesecake in a number of places in the city. I know I won't bother subjecting myself to this kind of service again.

best, soft and light cheesecake - TRY MANGO CHEESECAKE DURING THE SUMMER!. my friend told me about this little cheesecake shop in Soho, and I was pleasantly surprised by the various cheesecakes available, especially the mango cheesecake that was in season during the summer. They have excellent service, they deliver all of the US, and it is really a great find in the nyc. Everyone boasts about serving the best cheesecake, but if you want something light, not too heavy, and yummy, you should definitely try Eileen's. Reasonably priced and cute little shop!

So good it is hard to say no. I have to fight my temptations not to go... The cheesecake is so good... You can buy mini cheesecakes for one serving here in a variety of flavors. I also like how they can send the cheesecake in the mail. I never tried that though. I wish the store was open late for those midnight snacks though.
