Magnifico!. I purchased the most beautiful dresses for my daughter. What a wonderfully curated store. You can find everything your child needs in this store. My daughter is only 3 years and I did not know about this store. I found out it's open for 18 or 19 years at the same location. I will definitely visit this store again when I come back to the US.

Imported children's clothing in a tiny SoHo space. The Scene

A small wooden penguin above the door greets visitors to this cozy children's apparel shop. Quilted jackets, soft cotton jumpers and woolen cardigans in a panoply of styles and colors fill every nook and cranny of the store. The friendly staff can help you locate just the right outfit or keep the kids busy with crayons while you browse.

The Goods

All the clothes are imported, mainly from Italy and France, and each item is handpicked, from a casual furry blue vest to a sassy leopard print hat to a festive red velvet dress. Most of the goods are geared toward the wee set, though pre-teen sizes are also available. While prices range up to the higher end, the outfits' soft, durable fabrics and bright, detailed designs make them ideal candidates for long-term wear.

tres chic!. The buyer for this place has a great eye. I always find the best pieces from the European lines. My only wish is that this place were 10 times bigger.

Best children's clothing store in New York. There isnt much that hasnt been said about this place. The variety is excellent! The window displays are attractions on their own. Very inviting and chic.The staff is friendly, helpful and full of information. Julian and Sara has always been a wonderful store to shop for our children. The atmosphere and customer service are unsurpassed. Always great quality products and a reasonable price. No hassle with exchanges and store credits are always marked "good as cash" and extended to be used up to a year from date of purchase. Ask the staff to recommend the French pastry store to treat your kids.

Julian&Sara - The Best Little Store for Children's Clothing. My favorite little place to browse -- if you love quality children's clothes at great prices, this little store is for you. I love to stop in whenever I am in town even if I am not looking for anything specific -- I am always surprised by something special I fall in love with. As a Mom of 4 under ten years of age, if this is not the place I start to shop for the kids, it is definitely where I end up and go back to every chance I get for special gifts, to outfit newborns, to browse with friends; etc. One of my reliable destination stops in the City!

best children's boutique. You'll be delighted shopping at this small children's boutique. The staff were very helpful, polite and help you find really great stuff. It has a very European feel to it, with all the leading children's clothing designers to choose from and the very exclusive feel to shopping here. I shopped for a special baby gift and was clearly told by the sales person that the exchange period will be extended to 20 days and to inform the recipient not to wait too long. Very informative staff and free gift wrapping. I highly recommend this store.

Best children's clothing store in New York city. This cute little store packed with beautifull clothing imported from Europe also carries their own house brand called "Julsar ". I Love the shop and have been shopping for gifts and my own children for the past 15 years. Soho is changing and hope that Julian and Sara will remain for many more years. Quality service and impecable taste. I highly recommend the store.

RUDE and OBNXIOUS OWNER - do not shop at this place!. The owner is unbelievably obnoxious and rude; her manners are abrasive and offensive. I had an issue related to store credit and I called the store to discuss it. It was impossible to have any meaningful discussion because the owner kept interrupting me. When I mentioned that I was going to conctact the BB in order to protect my rights, she hang up on me!

Returns Not Made Easy. Returns not made easy. They include a gift receipt that gives no indication of the return policy. When I went to return a gift they informed me of their 20 day return policy. They need to be more flexible and get some tips on customer service because often a Mother with a newborn does not have the time to make a exchange within 20 days. If they will not indicate on the gift receipt on returns at least they should allow an exchange for a bigger size to accomodate the customer OR make it clear on the gift receipt of their 20 day policy.
