Pathetic costumer service & quality. Absolutely pathetic costumer service! It proves yet again that designers like Marc Jacobs can never be compared to the likes of Dior and Gucci. Those brands far exceed in quality and customer service and the newbees like MJ.

I purchased brand new pair of shoes from Gilt website. I wear them during the day and by evening one shoe came apart. Now when you call the store to fix the shoe, you're told that since these were not purchased from the store they won't fix the shoe. I asked where else can I get it fixed and was told " we don't know". Since the MJ label was stuck with a silver pin and the pin came out and fell somewhere, I can't even take it to a general shoe shop. What the F am I supposed to do with my $178 shoes now?

I remember when the clasp of my Dior handbag came off last year, I just took it to the Dior store on 5th ave. They cut me a receipt, charged me $$ and called me in a week when my bag was ready to be picked up. Now THATS Classy!

I dont think i'll ever buy any thing MJ. These so called american designers sucks big time!!

it is worth coming take a look. the quality looks good, design is good, while it is expensive. the environment is good. come back again.

Fashion rages behind this discreet storefront.. You'll hardly notice the store, located in an unassuming two-story brick building with virtually no signage, save for little brass letters next to the front door. Black wood floors and standard garment racks along the store's perimeter are decidedly unflashy. The only true clue that it's a trendy boutique is the clientele passing through the door: Fashion editors and slick-haired lovelies pop in and out for Marc Jacobs' shoes and belts, plus must-have jeans. Understated retro--inspired by "Belle de Jour" or the early days of punk--is the name of the game, with round-toe heels and pointy flats the perfect finish. The he selection of handbags, all with oversize hardware and buckles, look vintage when they're brand-new.

if you want to browse, this is the store. I love Marc Jacobs although I won't spend $900 on one of his bags. I didn't purchase anything at this store but I love to look anyway because I think the man is a genius. The workmanship of the clothing is just phenominal. Even though I enjoy the "Marc" line better, his bridge line is worth observing.
