Amazing but expensive clothes (nice service..if you look the part)

Went into the store while they had their sale, which was pretty full. Sales girls were cordial-not nice-they helped me with the fitting room, any price questions I had. It wasn't until I made my purshase did they get chatty. I could sense them looking me up and down-defiantely not the type of store you can go into dressed down. Clothes were amazing...and the sale prices were pretty good. Defiantely a brand I will keep following...and then go into when they have their next sale!

• Pros: Amazing clothes, great atmosphere
• Cons: Not-so nice sales ppl, steep prices

Avec the snootiness

My experience at Mayle recently was exactly opposite that of the editorial reviewer's: uninspiring frocks avec the snootiness. When I asked for a smaller size of a dress on the rack -- I needed at least two sizes smaller -- the saleswoman told me they didn't have any smaller sizes. As I was trying to decide whether the dress would even come close to fitting me (it looked way too big), the saleswoman said in a very snooty way, "You never know until you try." Then, another saleswoman, who was clearly larger than me, said, "Our stuff runs small. I actually wear that size." I left the place wondering whether they were blind, idiots, jealous or a mixture of all three.
